  • it comes with powder cheese

  • These kinds of pizza kits (Kraft also makes one) are good for a base, but we always added meat and extra cheese to them.

  • @WpgLwr007 That's how we do it too.

  • Me and my roommates got it last month as a gag. The crust is like corn meal, the cheese is parmeasan, and the sauce and toppings...forget it. Baboli all the way

  • I was born in 1983 but I am obsessed with vintage stuff and I love this commercial. Makes me want to try the pizza kit.

  • @voltaman33 It is really not bad.....I made some about a month ago and I had not eaten it in decades. The big advantage of this stuff is that it requires no refridgeration like a frozen pizza. I remember this era and it was long before there was a pizza shop on every corner. Very few restaurants sold pizza. You could find it at some drive-in movies, carnivals etc. My only objection to it is the smell. You better open every window in your house.....very "pukey" smelling

  • @inkey2

Your only objection is that it was "pukey" smelling? Why would you go anywhere near a food that was "pukey" smelling? It should have been thrown right into the garbage if it smelled that bad.

  • @songster1953 thats just the way they make it....the type cheese. I remember them smelling like that years ago. The sauce was nice tasting, the crust a bit odd......but the smell is indeed "pukey".....yes indeed...."pukey"

  • At least the picture of the pizza being sliced is pretty close to what it would come out looking like and not extra dr'd up.

  • YUM!
