If you managed to get through the series without hating it, I strongly suggest reading the manga. It does the story a lot more justice! It seems like you don't like slow stories (it's 38 volumes in total) but it's a fun ride throughout. By the way, the girl's name is Yuya Shiina. :)

@ShiinaYuyaSan Thanks for the suggestion although I'll probably pass. It wasn't just that the series was somewhat slow, just a lot of it was unexciting.

Samurai Deeper Kyo manga is hundred times better than the anime. It was one of those cases where the anime was done when the manga wasn't even finished. It's honestly worth a look.

Trust me, the anime didn't impress me either, but the manga blew me away when I started reading it

Sorry you liked SDK more than me. However, the weather in Hell is quite nice so I'll stay here with my opinion. Many other animes do the samurai or multi-personality sotry better.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. The manga is good. The anime is actually rather bad if you compare it to other adaptations. Not that you can't like it if you dig it, just that it could have been/be so much better.

i wouldnt call dragon ball z slow, more like long, cause theres action in like every episode. Naruto i could call slow though

Sure there's action, but it takes too many episodes to get through one saga. I prefer it over Naruto though. I like the abridged versions of both.
