the salvia d flowers can be smoked and are equivalent to if not more potent than the leaf i.e, you get intoxicated when you smoke the flowers. The flowers have a lovely fragrance too.

@RobieGate7 it does grow flowers but the flowers contain no salvia a (the shit that makes you high) the flowers only contain seeds and usually come out of the plant in October, the seeds from salvia only have a .1% chance of growing a plant or sapling but i herd that if you do somehow get a seed to grow you can name it your own strand.

i harvest year round in a frost-free, subtropical climate with out door grows.

If your'e in a damp place, dry the leaves slowly in an oven on a low temperature, flipping them regularly. Destem before drying the leaves.When dry, keep the leaf out of the light as it degrades the potency of the salvia.

@123drue 95% of the time they produce seeds, they aren't viable. They grow in such a humid climate the most effective reproduction is through direct propagation. When the stems get too heavy they fall over and roots start growing from the nodes.

@burgerkingmurders Because its illegal in most places, I know it is in kentucky, US. I hate how everytime something that so much as gives you a buzz they instantly brand it as a "dangerous drug" Damn, if its such a damn mistake then let them make it on their own. Plus there is worse things that are legal, like k2, alcohol, cigarettes, and even the only legal shroom in the US is the most poisonous of the all the hallucigenic shrooms (yet still somewhat safe to take if you take just a bit.)

you are a joker your not growing skunk, salvia divinorium grows best without artificial lights they have been cultivated to grow on windowsills or in greenhouses and do not like direct sunlight, they prefer to be behind a net curtain, for anyone who wants to grow these plants keep them in a very humid area such as a bathroom windowsill and they will grow absolutely fine saves wasting a load of money on your electricity bill.

@DARTHRAVER56 im not a joker my friend, 6 hours of stronger light per day was for my salvia plants something very useful. In my box I had 60-70 % of humidity which is the most important thing. The main thing is that resulst of my grow were unbelievable. Enormous strong plants with dark leaves just in two months. And for your information my bill for electricity was every month 4,5 euro bigger then normal so its not such a big waste of money (for me)

The most important thing,when you grow salvia is humidity. Salvia dont like very low temperatures so keep it indoor near window because of light. Dont worry about transplanting in winter, I do it often, you just have to cover the clone for 2 weeks with some transparent carry bag.
