Very cool video! Did you ride it all the way to Washington DC? The furthest I've ever ridden the Acela is to Metro Park, NJ because its so expensive! I'm actually going to be taking it from Penn Station to Boston in a few weeks. Maybe I'll take a video.
ha ha really? I would think the regional would be cheaper than flying but not the acela. Especially with airlines like Southwest having really cheap fares. But the acela is 10X nicer than southwest planes. Amtrak is having some special deals on the Acela right now maybe thats why.

Thanks, I rode it all the way to DC with my family. We were going to be flying there but the acela was actually cheaper!

Yeah, we usually fly down (to visit relatives) but with the deals it's cheaper
