Wow. I cannot begin to explain to you how, wow, how great of an impersonation this way. Applause, outstanding. I was literally sitting here in awe THIS was amazing. Are you sure you weren't the voice of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings? Because, i am quite sure that must have been you :) Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm a budding actor mate, can you give me some tips on how you would go about impersonating people, or characters. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Also this is so freaking amazing!

@muquit cheers, certainly. What I do is listen to a character I really like, over and over and over again. I say things what they say, try to make them sound exactly the same, by the sound of my voice, also the kind of thought processes they have. Like in this video where Smeagol is being bullied by Gollum, relate to that - it aids in bringing the voice and character to life. With "my precious" think of something I really really have a craving for.

@muquit So I practice that to myself, driving in the car, walking alone down the street, then when I feel comfortable enough I try it out randomly infront of someone I'm comfortable with. Either a friend or family member. If I get a good reaction from them, I know I'm onto something. If I get a bad reaction, it's either back to the drawing board or time to drop it and try a different character.

@muquit After a while your confidence increases. You can put it out there in front of others 'cause you know you are good.

When you get a few different characters under your belt you can also gauge whether a character is going to be right for your voice or not. Just like reading an acting roll, you either get a good pulse from it or you don't.

I also have some of my Super Mario impersonations on my channel under favorites.
