  • I'm a huge SONE, but I must admit... KARA's journey into Japan is great. I don't know about the reception but I really love the cute songs they released. They seem to play to Japanese general likings but are also potentially successful in Korea! I must admit that I love these songs and are much better than their past songs. They seem more refined or something. Back to watching Kara now! :D

  • @PinkNinjaMaster Kara has released many cute songs in Korea. Rock U, Pretty Girl, Honey, Umbrella, Date (My Boy), and these are only the ones they promoted on music shows. There are many more on their albums. Also, Kara is already immensely successful in Korea, they consistently rank within the top 3 girl groups there. I think you are only giving them attention and underhanded compliments because they are more popular than your dear Soshi in Japan. Not being mean, so don't take this personally.

  • @parkhyeseol I did not say that they had not released any cute songs prior to their Japanese venture nor did I say that they were unpopular in Korea. I simply meant that their music is deliciously poppy that seemed to have fared far better in Japan than my "dear Soshi." They had also caught my attention with the immense quality of their music. I did not intend to give off a position condescension to Kara. By the way, calling them my "dear Soshi" is an offensive arrangement of words.
