@ANeonTiger In fact, the LDS church is one of the few Christian churches that believes that God hears our prayers no matter what one's religion. We also believe that other faiths have a lot of truth to them and feel that their intentions are sincere. Most faiths that believe they are the only true church believe that if your not that particular faith then you're not getting to Heaven. The LDS church believes that as long as you're a good person, you will be blessed no matter what your faith is.

There were no forced marriages, marriage at that age was a normal occurance all over, & our church stopped long ago. It was nothing like this. @ANeonTiger I think the mistake is that you relate BY and Smith were like Jeffs. It's an understandable assumption. There are a lot of rumors & exaggerations about Mormons, so I dont blame you. But the fact is that the only thing they had in common with this guy was polygamy, which stopped when it was made illegal. (It wasnt before that, things were different back then.) Forcing dozens of 13 yr olds to have sex with them was not part of it. I am proud of all the great things both of them did.

@ANeonTiger In fact, the LDS church is one of the few Christian churches that believes that God hears our prayers no matter what one's religion. We also believe that other faiths have a lot of truth to them and feel that their intentions are sincere. Most faiths that believe they are the only true church believe that if your not that particular faith then you're not getting to Heaven. The LDS church believes that as long as you're a good person, you will be blessed no matter what your faith is.
