@TheGuilleSuit Well, I don't know about the Pelican, but in Forza 4, Jeremy Clarkson says that the Warthog is fueled by some kind of hydrogen engine. I assume that since Halo is set over 500 years from now, they've probably developed many new technologies. And plus, the UNSC has colonized hundreds of planets. I'm sure there's one out there made of mostly crude oil.

@MRGTi5 there are 17 inner colonies. i know well we know about 6 or 7 of them. Reach, Harvest, Algolis, Arcadia, Earth (duh) well thats all i can think of but there are a few outter colonies like Onyx.

That last cutscene was so beautiful.....I always thought Halo 1 and 3 had the best cutscenes, and Halo 2's cutscenes were a little rushed. (Bungie had a tight deadline to get Halo 2 out the door) Halo 2's cutscenes were still good though, (and had an amazing soundtrack like all Halo games) just not on par with Halo 1 or 3.

I love how after the pelican gets hit and smashes into the warthog, the chief looks over at the ODST as to say "oh shit did you see that, that was nearly my head!". ODST would respond " maybe next time you'd like to take a seat, instead of trying to act all cool"

@crashtest244 - No: Around Halo 2 and 3's storyline, more accurately, after Halo 2 but before Halo 3, there was a civil war between the elites and the rest of the Covenant. Their Great Journey was a lie, so they ended up helping the humans in Halo 3, and as far as we all know, they are still on the human's side. Halo 3 is the most recent chronologically, and after that, it'll be Halo 4 when it comes out in 2012.

@crashtest244 Since Reach was the prequel to the whole series, the elites are your enemy. Chronologically, it's Reach, Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 3. Between Halo 2 and Halo 3, the elites had a civil war with the Covenant, and so they switched sides, helping the humans.

@crashtest244 reach was attacked by the covenant. they glassed reach and destroyed it. this is the latest game, but halo 1 happened a few months after reach. in halo 2, the elites got betrayed by the brutes, and in the end the allianse was made. but in halo 2 when you play as arbiter in the levels where you fight the covenant, you fight with the grunts, hunters and elites. so i dont understand why the grunts and hunters are bad in 3.
