  • Great song from an awesome album........

  • A magnificent and complex composition with jazz tinglings and unusual time signature.

Too bad he didn't write it sooner, for it would now appear on all Cream compilations and be enjoyed by many more music lovers.

  • People are mostly so stupid !..or perhaps only missguided ..? that..,there's always some correcting. That's why we Finns must be here to watch to you to put things right..all night long.

So...Please don't mess mr .Harrison to this ,or tomorrow you could mess him with Madonna.

  • @vituraoy What are you exactly trying to tell? your message is a mess..

  • G .Harrison has nothing to to on this record. All Guitars are plying by Chris Spedding or Bruce himself!..

  • @vituraoy I think you are wrong.. this is the only song George plays in this record! You check first before commenting!

  • @yescure6 Yep. Credited as L'Angelo Misterioso.

  • Jack Bruce sang this song like a true "soul" man. Great lyrics by the British "beat" poet Pete Brown.

  • One of Jack's greatest solo tracks. Band is about as tight as you can get. A departure from the Cream style which is good for Jack. Shows his diversity. I love the brass, and I remember Dick Heckstall-Smith being one intense sax player. Jon Hiseman's drums? What can you say about brilliance?

  • God I just wasn't ready for the horn section suffering my post Cream pangs- but now must say can appreciate & even grew to love the arrangement .

  • Remember seeing Cream in 68' and Mr Bruce was Totally captivating in commanding the throttle of that Band. They were all great But Jack's bass and Vocals Drove that unit and seeing Him in Action was something you dont forget SUPER TALENT..wATCHOUTeric.....

  • Everybody Dance!

  • A sad commentary on today's youth that this particular has only 1,501 views, plus mine! Thank God, I was born in an era when great music was born and still lives. So sad, that today's masses choose to hear the dead who are living during their prime.

  • That was one of my favorite LPs to pick up when I was an odd-out kid back in the mid-1980s. Never did follow the crowd, so the older music was what hooked me and Jack was the stuff that did it for me on that day. I was ecstatic hearing this song for the first time.

    Lively tune. Just lively.

  • With the exception of Harrison and Spedding all the musicians on this song (including Bruce) played with John Mayall´s bluesbreakers in the 60:s.

  • @Magnus6207 Great observation!

  • oh...Harrison is just posted....

  • Love this song from Jack´s first solo album. I didn´t know it was George Harrison who played guitar on this one. Always thought it was Cris Spedding. Nice pics of the EB3 and of the musicians. Great slide.

  • Thanks for your kind comment, yes, is Harrison on Guitar, isnt that great! :)

  • @yescure6

Anytime you see "L'Angelo Misterioso" it's Harrison.

  • though the title was allegedly inspired by a real-life incident involving spedding's rather detailed criticism of a local community orchestra performance he'd attended with his mother. i don't believe she was actually a performing member but apparently did take some offense on their behalf

[i probably read this in kimberly bright's spedding bio, which is badly in need of an index]

  • @Magnus6207 HE APPEARED UNDER THE NAME OF L'ANGELO MYSTERIOSO, THE NAME HE USED WHEN HE PLAYED ON CREAM'S GOODBYE ALBUM ON BADGE, SONG HE CO WROTE WITH CLAPTON
