i am a die hard giants fan since the day i was born and i love tiki barber and jeremy shockey but does anyone find it funny how the giants make it this far and win the superbowl without 2 of their quote unquote best players

Not with Tiki I'm not. He was a great player but his ego is huge and I think he was a cancer in the locker room. Shockey I think gets a bad rap a lot of the time but if you think about it, last season he didn't cause any problems, no media issues and I think if he stayed healthy the Giants would have gone on and won the Super Bowl with him as well. In fact our offensive production probably would have been better. For example our rushing yards per game when down without Shockey.

Gotcha. Yea his rhythm was wrecked under Big Blue's defensive schemes and skill of their players. Pressure will do that to every QB, I don't care if its Joe Montana, pressure him as much as the Giants did Brady and he wouldn't be any better. No denying that Brady is a great quarterback and will be considered one of the best ever.

It was a great game. Sucks to be on the losing end of it but if you look at it objectively, it was pretty incredible. Especially for Giants' fans like myself.
