  • HA HAA!! Am I crazy for randomly thinking of this & other 80's cartoons. Also? Like. Beverly Hills. Teens too. Ha haa!! This was my shit!

  • Still wish Daft Punk would cover this song....

  • Damn this is old school. I felt 6 years old again. Sat morning cartoons

  • Thank GOD I have the dvds from this show. Too bad they made only 1 season of this show.

  • LOved this show as a kid...and loved the intro...

  • Ah, my great Aunt Arcee

  • brings back so many memories

  • One of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. That theme song still rocks!

  • What is that kid on steroids?

  • 80's cartoons were cool

  • i used to love this cartoon it kicked ass

  • I can sing this word for word XD I grew up with it <3

  • I have to give this show credit for having one of the best and most INTENSE after school special episodes. The brain-blasters episode would DEFINITELY have scared me off drugs if I saw if when I was a kid.

  • TPAIN's first song?!?!

  • This show ROCKED!

  • lol, wear e.t and yoda

  • thanks too politics there are more remakes...... No new ideas...

  • I feel so ashamed for watching Team Galaxy first.

  • Gotta agree on shows being they're way too tame and politically correct these days, and not just cartoons, but movies. Looking back on my old shows, I'm pretty sure half of them would be in either TV-PG or higher. I mean, I'm all for protecting the tykes, but seriously...if you and little sally sit down and you're both yawning. Take that remote and find something with a little bite, it won't hurt her to see a bit of blood and it'll give you something to talk about over dinner.

  • MY MOTHERFUCKING EARS! I used to love the show, fantastic intro music too.

  • I miss this cartoon !!!

  • this was one of my favorites. Loved 80s cartoon themesongs.

  • 80's Sat morning cartoons... simply no contest. I feel bad for the newer gen children.

From the light-heart stuff (such as this and The Littles) to the super cool action shows like Bionic Six, MASK, Galaxy Rangers, ect.

    Those were the days, man.

  • Wow. I absolutely loved this show. I haven't seen it in years... and when I found this clip I had to pause it in the first few sconds. The wave of nostalgia was so strong I couldn't take it!! Haha, this has to be ov DVD or smething right?

  • This reminds me of Toejam & Earl

  • This show and Muppet Babies were my faves on Saturday mornings. Those were the days. Kids now are totally gipped.

  • this was always my favorite saturday morning cartoon! awesome post

  • man I remember seeing this cartoon when I was a kid...

  • That's the best cartoon theme song ever. I loved it then and love it now.

  • born 82, i was brought up in the ultimate era of cartoons, make no mistake about it!

  • John K. of ren and stimpy worked on this show...

  • Who are the 8 people who clicked 'dislike'??? :-/

  • I gotta say this is an awesome premise. it really sounds like a love story premise. especially a girl one if the animation wasn't so unisex and the guy so out of his element.

  • epic!

  • damn! i dont remember the theme being this good! i loved this time period.i miss it SOOOOO much....

  • Man this show was the shit!!!

  • Auto-Tune usage way before Lil Wayne.

  • @neversaycant1 Or Cher.

  • That's one sick theme tune. Good cartoon show as well.

  • Earth Stinks!

  • Man I love this song. The show was awesome too! Man they don't make cartoons like this anymore. :-(

  • I only found out a while ago Don Felder from the Eagles did the theme tune, sounds like a talkbox. I've got Season 1 of this on DVD, it was fucking awesome! =)

  • CLASSIC!!!

  • Almost brings tears to my eyes. A: because it's not real, and B: my childhood wished that my later years were like this. I'll be there one day! If there is a heaven it's actually called Galaxy High.

  • I really loved this series, I will always remember the little alien on a chain which used to sing instead of talking.

  • I used to love watching this on Saturday mornings when I was a kid

  • Don Felder did the music for this show.

  • Wow! September 1986, freshman year at my own high school. That was awesome! I lovd that toon. Old school tv rocks. We need more networks like boomerang to put them on

  • Hmm for some reason i just assumed that the dolorean should have zoomed by the screen.

  • Galaxy High was the best!

  • I have the entire series on dvd. This was a series that was too short. There should have been more.

  • @trayguy ..i agree..it should have been three seasons at least.

  • This was like the Pre-Futurama

  • is it wrong i think Amy's hot??

  • @MarrowXavier roflmao!

  • omg.. childhood memories.!

  • Man I loved this show!

  • At the end of the pilot episode, when Aimee becomes popular, she changes her skin and hair color to something like blue or green, doesn't she? And it stays that way for the rest of the series. Always bugged me that the intro never demonstrates that ... but overall, a great escapist concept for the downtrodden!

"In Soviet Russia, nerd keeps down jock!!"

  • @lenarends Yes she changes her skin/hair color but only for that episode after that she is back to her normal look.

  • How the they reserved it. Aimee was the coolest one in Galaxy High. The moral of this story brains before brawn.

  • good memories beer galaxy high saturday morning!!!!!!

  • JaneShouse, I agree with tigereyes5, These cartoons had real meaning and substance to them. You really don't see to much of this any more. Thanks for posting, as Galaxy High was one of my favorites. Can you let me know if there was a different version done of the opening song? Thanks.

  • this would be a great movie if they did a live action one

  • "earth stinks"...lol..lol..

.."i'm gonna fix you, earth boy!"..lol..lol..lol..

i loved beef bonk! a 6 foot '2 inches tall reptillian chicken with super strength and changes color whenever he's upset. plus, he likes to hit you with rotten eggs whenever you're not looking. now, there's a high school bully for you!

  • you know, an old classmate of mine, who was a total jerk, used to sing his own version of this song..how did it go? oh, yeah..i remember now..

...AMY WAS THE SMARTEST GIRL AT SCHOOL, NOT VERY POPULAR. NOT VERY COOL. I COULD PROBABLY GET HER DRUNK AND INTO MY POOL...

and in case you hadn't guessed, he's doing twenty years now...lol..lol..the dumbass...lol..lol..

  • @cornbreadthedog lmfao!!

  • omg. I loved this show!

  • so did i..this show rocked..broke my heart that this show didn't go on longer for more seasons..they should really bring this show back with new episodes.

  • Amazingly awesome intro music, blows all songs from today out the water!

  • absolutely!..i still find myself humming the opening into song to galaxy high school when i'm driving in traffic..lol..lol..

  • i love this intro and this show!

  • Thank god for youtube helping me relive all of these awesome old cartoons!

  • if aliens had to pick two people from earth why in the name of fucking hell would they pick two from the same school?

  • For that matter, with all of the wonderful diversity of the human race why would they pick two white non-disabled Americans?

    The world's a funny place.

  • beef bonk lol

  • wow lookin back at these cartoons now, makes we realsie this is sum weird bain-wasing crap.

watch arrivals on you tube interesting for all u people who think we live in a normal world.

  • BRING THIS BACK NOW!!!

  • i'd be amaze if they made a live action series of this and i know who'd play Doyle and Aimee.

  • Who, Zach Efron and Miley Cyrus?

  • of cause not,it be either two actors and two actess that i choose and......

    the two actors are

    1.kelly blatz

    2Matthew underwood

    and the 2 actress are

    1.Debbie ryan

    2.Alyson stoner

  • I forgot about this damn cartoon..it was good and funny! And that intro! Haha!

  • i love this intro, it was and still is cool

  • Kidd Video was better than Galaxy High.

  • sTUPENDOUS SERIOUS! The memories are major !!!

  • I feel sorry for kids these days. With the exception of Arthur the cartoons they have are lame and unimaginative.

Galaxy High was great! Shows like this, Captain Planet, James Bond Junior, The Rescue Rangers, Racoons, Tale Spin and Inspector Gadget were quality and a good reason for a kid to get up at 8 o'clock in the morning!

  • Oh you soooo brought back Captain Planet & James Bond Jr.! Thats real! What about Bionic 6, C.O.P.S., M.A.S.K., and dare I even go there, JEM! Yea I said it. They just don't know these days. X-Men! X-MEN? Come on, we can do this for days!!

  • I rember the Racoons awsome

  • the aliens made them breed with each other

  • this rocked, cartoons are so lame and toned down these days, it seemes everyone used up all their imagination in the late 80's and early 90's.

  • damn straight!

  • @jericho696969

God, the nostalgia goggles are in full effect here. Alot of the best cartoons(Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman: The Animated Series) didn't show up till late 90's. Chowder today blows most of the old 80's shows out of the water, both animation-wise and with story-writing. I'll agree that the card-game shows suck, but shows like Ben 10: Alien Force and Johnny Test are fairly good. And Star Wars: The Clone Wars comes off better than some of the Star Wars prequel movies.

  • Where will you find this music.

    ANSWER: NOWHERE.

And Star Wars: The Clone Wars suckass

  • @Dark3lf80 ..i find chowder unwatchable. i really gave it a good six episodes and then bailed. but i'm glad that you like it. yet, saturday morming cartoons were an event. something to get out of bed for as a kid with your pj's & favorite cereal. most of what's on saturday morrnings now is just plain awful when compared to GALAXY HIGH, DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS, THE REAL GHOST BUSTERS, THE PUPPY'S NEW ADVENTURES, & THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN. just to name a few. peace and love, friend...

  • @jericho696969 okay I'm starting to question this alot now. HOW, How is it toned down? I don't see anything different in the cartoons. in fact avatar, the Boondocks and South park are some of the best animated shows I've seen so I have no idea what your speaking of here.

  • @BrokenFWD I think jericho696969 is talking about kids cartoons. They do seem to lack the imagination that was so much a part of cartoons from the 80s and 90s. You don't have too many sci-fi based cartoons anymore either. I think kids today are being fed an abnormal dose of reality shows, and it's starting to spill into channels that had so many cartoons before like Cartoon Network.

  • @sidearmsalpha well It's more to do with business than anything else. Star Wars clone wars is the sci-fi thing of the day.

also amount is a factor. remember until the mid 90s when CN started cartoons for kids were at best on Nick for the weekdays and they stopped after 8. and before that it was mostly just some after school and saturday morning stuff. not all day. so new shows came out all the time with few even VHS tapes to go about with.

  • @BrokenFWD right now with Youtube and netflix and hulu, I can see over 100 spoungebob episodes, Astro Boy, this show here, family guy, etc. all I want any time I want. so it takes alot to have a good series for kids when so many get old enough to see south park and boondocks faster than we would today in the house hold, (I saw SP first when I was 12).

besides right now Star Wars, Ben 10, and Generator Rex or whatever it's called are the big kid's Sci-fi. it's just not much Science in it.

  • @jericho696969 correction, late 90's and early 00's, that's when all this spongebob, dora, etc started

  • @jericho696969 that cocaines a hell of a drug...

  • thats right....it was on in the mornings b4 school...BRING IT BACK! the 80's rocked! :D

  • How about we start a campaign 2 bring back all the 80's cartoons???...cartoons nowadays arent a patch on the 80's

  • One of the most addictive shows of the 80's and 90's this is what i call good cartoons, whats wrong with animators and story writers these days?

Loving the nostaligic feeling this cartoon brings back...those were the golden age of my life back then..lol

  • OMG Blast from the past....loving it !!!!! :)

  • this would make a good movie

  • So thats where Daft Punk got inspiration for there music from.

  • I used to love beef. classic toon

  • Thanks a lot Saved by the Bell, killed great cartoons like this.

  • Oh man, I remeber this when I was a kid, it rocked!!!!!!!!

  • one of the eagles played guitar on this. rocks

  • I don't remember this cartoon at all...

  • greatest fckn saturday am cartoon

  • ahh man, this shit is oooole schoool man. Right up there with power play and conan..

  • STOP LYING YOU SILLY SILLY BOY

  • that is the biggest load of shit ive ever heard, and i read the internet

  • No WAY! I remember that shit! It's true! I read about it in People!

  • F'N Love It!! ...This brings me back. I loved growing up in the 80's

  • I miss the old days and cartoons like this. The 80's was the greatest time to be a kid. Good times, good times

  • I love the one where Doyle and Amy "went steady" at Fort Lauderoid

  • i loved the "thinkoids" episode.

  • Gotta love shows where the plot summary is in the song.

  • They all used to be like that.

  • i think this came on right after pee-wee

  • never watched this show as a kid. i do like the intro though

  • ok, i did watch like 4 or 5 episodes

  • saturday mornings like 20 years ago!

  • Oh yeah and best times ever

  • Every grunge band from the 90's should be forced to sing through vocoders for the crime of polluting the air waves with whiny acoustic garbage.

  • i bet if you took a random poll of whether you or kurdt cobain mattered more to the world .. aw hell what am i saying, we all know the answer.

  • Yes, thank you Grunge music for being that ever so crucial, non-entertaining, pro-depression element that made emo what it is today.

  • why are you replying to yourself?

  • Now this is a great classic cartoon I used to watch all the time...Rock On Cabbie Style!!!!

  • Daft Punk stole all the ideas for their tunes from this theme. Must be a fact.

  • i agree with that!

  • This is the first time I've heard this song since-I can't even remember how long it's been! When they started that chant at the end of the song (Galaxy High! Galaxy High! Galaxy High!), I almost broke down... GREAT POST! THANK YOU!

  • Your Momma cried when that sun came up and I had to leave before yur drunk-ass Daddy got home...

  • Well, you are what you eat, you smegma-laden DICK.

  • best cartoon tune ever...

  • this cartoon was quality!yamone!

  • Er...

    Nae problem Adolf.

  • If anyone's got a link to an mp3 of this, respond! I've looked everywhere!

  • THIS.....IS THE ONLY TIME

    I turned off my ATARI!

except when gummi bears, muppet babies or pee wee's playhouse came on!

  • wow i used to buzz off this moons ago it still looks ace

  • I used to watch this back when it was on CBS and then again on the sci-fi channel.

  • The one cartoon of the 80's

(along with Mighty Orbots)that should've been made into action figures & sadly

    never was.

  • The jews ruined all our childhood memories with big companies and send all the money to Israel. Everything suffers now from them, even the cartoons.

  • ziomaxcom, ????

  • Seriously, are you retarded. My motorbike broke down today, it's either the fault of the jews, the blacks, maybe the hispanics, can't be sure. All I know is that some minority is to blame. Not only that but I got a cold last week and I think it came from Korea.

  • blame McDonalds :D

  • Dude, Jews were involved in alot of these shows we grew up on.

  • Man does that bring back memories! God life was so much simpler and happier in the 80's!

  • yeah the 80's were great for cartoons. I used to get up at 8 am just to watch the cartoons. I would get upset when noon when the cartoons ended. There should be a 80's cartoon network :)

  • these kinds of shows make me want to have been born in the 80's, not '96. they should seriously out some reruns.

  • damn every saturday morning back in the 80's was like christmas morning. i would wake up early, fix a bowl of capn crunch and sit in front of the tv all morning. the cartoons and tv shows back then kicked ass. wish i could go back. thank goodness for you tube

  • If you changed the lyrics up a bit, this would make a pretty good theme song for "the internet"

  • (claps) Awesome!!! I loved Galaxy High. I always rented the same VHS tapes from the video store all the time

  • man I loved galaxy high...

  • Oh man, that's awesome! I watched this show faithfully, with others like Dungeons & Dragons, Muppet Babies, and what was that one spin-off from the video game, Dirk something fighting dragons? And of course Thundercats after school. :)

  • Dragon's Lair

  • takes me back to when i was about 6. love it!

  • Man they just don't make awesome Saturday morning 'toons like this anymore! No more Garfield n' Friends... Galaxy High... Muppet Babies... etc.

  • cool... old saturday morning..and when american bandstand came on it was time to go outside cause the cartoons were over for the day ..no cartoon network in the 80's:(

  • I used to LOVE this cartoon. It's all boys stuff these days, nothing much for girls to enjoy - Galaxy High was probably enjoyed by both. It was brilliant!

  • this was cool lol

  • Yup...this DOES bring back memories!!
