Does this gun have the slide/cock lock function? When you pull the slide back, you can press a safety up so it stays, I don't know how to explain it very well.

i think this is the Colt M1911 A1 from "Bell", there is a another Colt M1911 A1 from "Cybergun", the diffrent from them are only the markings on the Slide and from Bell is cheaper (sorry for my bad english ^^)

its called a field strip. and no it wont break your gun. you must treat this like a real gun and field strip it to lube/clean it to keep it from getting broken.

Im pretty sure most parts inside the gun are actually metal. But the mag however is all plastic also it has a lead wieght in it to keep it heavy.

It's a spring gun, not gas read the title.

I am deciding whether or not to either get this or the MK23. I'm trying to debate the pros and cons. UHC is a very reliable air-soft company but, the MK23 looks and feels very sturdy(my mate had one) and the MK23 comes with two 25 round magazines while the M1911 comes with one. And the prices are about the same from where I am looking at.
