Maria needs to do nothing but serve when she practices. Lol. She does everything else beautifully. Her footwork is good, her backhand is good, and her forehand is pretty good too. She just had another shoulder injury so that serve really needs to be worked on. I only see her making the quarters this year. Hopefully she wins the French tho so she can complete the career slam.

Hate to say this....but to be honest, Sharapova seems to be looking a bit "lazy" ou there on the court...when you look at this video and compare it to the one where Serena's practicing for AO 2012 you'd have to say (WITHOUT A DOUBT) that Serena's the favourite.

@kelvinpyaeko Maria should fix her ball toss. That's the only issue with the serve. She tosses it too far in front and too high.. so when variables come in to play (i.e. wind) it goes off.

@fencer11793 I think she may have, i couldn't see the whole serve obv but it seemed a shorter time between ball toss and contact, they tweaked it at Nick Bolieteri Academy during the offseason.
