In the movie, Lady Elizabeth Boleyn was redeemed through her concern for her daughters used as pawns for family ambition, and her son as a companion to the King in his entourage. In the book though, she approves of everything that happens -- which is a lot more destructive to almost everyone at the court.

I agree. TOBG was one of the rare cases when the movie was better than the book. KoA came off stronger in the movie too.
