Sometime things may look similar but that doesnt mean they came from the same root. For everyone that think VN came from China is dead wrong and ignorance. VN and China are two differences race and country. China took over VN for 1000 years, but that doesnt mean that VN & China were related. Ex: Mexico speaks Spanish, does that mean the Mexicans came from Spain?

You mentioned Chisao as a "chinese type of martial art " and that is totally wrong !! Here is the lesson i give you , Chisao is only a practice to help improve one-self 's reaction and Chisao is a part of Wingchun and Wingchun is a Chinese martial art. Chisao is not a martial art itself!
vovinam is not a pure vietnamese martial art, it got mix with many others well know types like Judo, karate, teak kwon do, ect. I have no problem with Vovinam, but they should rename the name and what they said about Vovinam is Vietnamese Martial Art becuz it is not pure Vietnamese Martial Art. It is a copy from others arts with a little Binh Dinh lol. It should call Hot Pot Martial Arts becuz it got all in 1 called Vovinam lol
