  • Very nicely done my friend.

  • very nice

  • I still come back from time to time enjoying this again. :-)

  • some of the notes got a little muddled at parts, but overall you did a great job. love your use of dynamics. i'm debating learning this for a recital, how long did it take you to learn?

  • Thanks for the comment! I'd say it does not take very long to get a rough performance of the piece going---it actually has lots of structure that makes it easy for the hands and mind to remember. If you don't mind octaves and 4-note chords it's much more playable than it looks. On the other hand, getting the details and nuances might require considerable effort. Especially the development section I found extremely difficult and had to muddle through...

  • But either way I definitely recommend playing it. It's one of the most fun pieces I've ever tried!

  • very impressive

  • HI Noah, Playing Liszt's transcription of Beethoven's 5th Symphony is quite an accomplishment!!! I enjoyed every moment of your performance. Thanks for sharing it. :-)

  • Hi Tom, thanks again for your unwavering support of my playing! This piece was quite a challenge, but very exciting to play. It's fun for me to watch this video and see what the fingers are actually doing, since while playing it I'm too distracted and nervous to really see what's going on ;)

Next step, the remaining three movements!
