Actually China would just stay back. China wouldn't risk 50% of its mineral imports which it gets from Australia. I also doubt they would risk anything when 1 US ohio nuclear sub carries 192 nuclear missiles each 50 times Hiroshima. 1 nuclear US sub = the entire China nuclear arsenal

Also China is going to overtake the US economically in the next few decades even more a bigger risk to China

The same logic can be applied to the US. The US would never invade north korea due to the risk of drawing china into the conflict. Also because the US has absolutely nothing to gain (no oil, etc).

Anyone who hoping for Obama to defend anything is dreaming, he is too busy being the leader of the world socialist movement to stand up for democratic values. Look at a map, how can anyone protect South Korea from North Korea, capital city is too close? North Korea can kill millions of people in Seoul in an instant with missiles. Of course North Korea would end too, but point is world is afraid to take strong action against NK because of this threat. Also China runs interference for them...
