I just stumbled across this video, and I saw there was a discussion about some of the words. I didn't see and answer, so here it is. The blank words in the lyrics are "fade out" so the line reads "With the fade out right before us they can add an off-screen chorus."

I love this song! But you mentioned if we notice anything:

Acting doesn't get the theatres "act" = I think instead of "act" it's "packed"

they can always "dunk" my feet = I think that one was "dub"

Still trying to figure out the blank word...then again, I could be wrong about the others. I can be pretty deaf most of the time. lol
