Man half you people have no clue. Holden make commodores, statesmans, and monaros in LefthandDrive and ship them to a few places in the world. Monaro went to america as the GTO. Commodores and Statesmans have been shipped to the middle east as Lumina's and Caprice's for a while now. New VE commodore is being sold in the USA as a Pontiac G8/6 (?)

I used to live in Saudi Arabia for a while so I know this for a fact. My parents own a Chevrolet Caprice and it is very much a holden statesman :)

Also, the american made chevrolet caprice was sold in the middle east until GM stopped producing it. Then chevrolet Middle East decided to import the statesman to replace it. The AMERICAN made lumina was a fwd piece of **** that they stopped importing when nobody bought it. They soon replaced it with the imported commodore.

With 4 doors. Why GM never brought that to the US is a big mystery. Its obvious there is a high demand for such a car in the US for many years especially from GM. Until now they have brought over a 4 door aussie sedan but many would have hoped for an HSV model instead of a mildly upgraded commodore. I understand that price would be a factor but such a car should be shipped here in limited numbers to increase their image.. When will they learn????

No its not a Holden , Its a Lumina SS 448Hp, got it from the Chevrolet company in 2002 Brand New , then Fitted it with a Hsv ClubSport Bodykit , and 19 inch rims , and a Fully upgraded Engine, all shiped from AUS.

OK ive sat here and seen what you have all said and your all wrong! i work for holden in australia and that car is a 1999 vt clubsport made by holden. not a lumina i work with these cars every day and yes we did build them we should know. but you know what makes aussies look evan dumber, not recognising one of there own cars you know who you are.

Look buddy, GM sold the Commo (and eventually the Monaro) in LHD in the Middle East, parts of Asia, and So'frica as the Chevrolet Lumina S and SS. The same way we got the Monaro in the US as the Pontiac GTO. Are you gonna tell me my 06 LS2 isn't a GTO? This fellow just put a Clubbie kit and rims on his.

completely different cars. Com is rwd and boasts V8's. Luminas are fwd and stick with V6's. If you look at them real hard, you can tell the difference.
