Interesting rearrangement. I've never seen someone play a cello standing up. Maybe that's why they simplified the part and gave a lot of the typical cello part to the third violin.

Honestly, they're not that good... out of tune and playing easy pieces. I played Palladio in eighth grade. They're good, but they're not as fantastic as everyone thinks they are because no one listens to real classical music anymore.

I guess I'm just a music snob after playing violin for 80% of my life.

Nothing but envy? Sorry for coming into the argument, but its true, and i don't even play a string instrument. I do play tenor sax, though, and i know that this piece is very easy. Of course the music would make you feel good, though. Most are harmonized and chords to sound good, the composers intent, but there is no technical difficulty. I just wanted to leave this comment to say that i dislike people who always say 'Do it yourself'. Obviously it won't matter if he does, but he could with this.

I hate BGT's cinematography. They pan out and zoom in arbitrarily and half the performance is missed. It's worst with the dances because it completely ruins the fluidity. In this one, most of their synchronized foot stomps were chopped. So annoying.

When i left school in 2007 i had been playing violin for 3 years, and my school orchestra performed this piece to obviously a lower standard, but not by much.

It really angered me that people like Simon were saying they put classical music on its head, when there are musicians like Vanessa Mae who did that years ago.

They're not the worst, but they are most certainly not the best.

I have been playing the cello for many many years, and I am wondering how the cello player can play standing up! I am pretty sure this is possible and I give her kudos for that. I notice that she is bowing on the fingerboard and is hammering the bow on the strings. When strings are being slammed by the bow like that and being played on the fingerboard, the cello doesn't make that good of a sound as showed here. :S Looks like the violin players are actually playing, but the cello player does not.
