Realistically, Ottomans made a mistake by allowing those people of Orthodox Origin practice their religion,culture and language freely. Whats the point of this?? Doing this in the United States is a lost cause, we don't have the prisoners here. Hayastan gna! Go protest there. No wonder people think Armenians are weird in LA, look at the stuff they do. The only thing I can see this situation being used for is the Armenian Genocide. Not for these political prisoners that are in Yerevan, no one here cares. Not even people in Armenia seem to care about it.

Just listen to this--the Armenians in Armenia were under Russian rule, but those who were forced into a diaspora still feel pain over their statelessness and loss of a homeland, a way of life, and a great chunk of their population. Maybe this is what they can do to feel like they are doing something and not totally powerless, in the hopes that their adoptive country recognizes what Turkey did was morally reprehensible and wrong.

@truthb4liesalibies Well, 80% of the Armenians in Los Angeles are from Armenia and have immigrated to the states within the last 30 years. So it really isn't the people who have lost their homeland and are in Syria, Lebanon or France.
