We are called on to venerate and respect the Saints in the bible. I just showed you a verse showing Joshua venerating the Archangel Michael. In Revelations it says the Saints offer up our prayers to God. Also Marian veneration is shown in the Bible with both the Archangel Gabriel and Elizabeth venerating Mary. Also Catholics do not worship Mary or the Saints they only venerate the so your point is moot.

Joshua 5:14: shows Joshua venerating the Archangel Michael. So yes we are allowed to venerate the Saints and Angels of Heaven. What we are not allowed to do is worship them as gods (latria) which is something Catholics do not do.

"Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." (Ps. 51:5)

Mary was a sinner but God in His mercy, washed those sins away with His gift of grace.
