  • I'm buying one of these beauties. I tried one recently at GC and like some others have mentioned it is super light weight but the nice thing about it is the action. The neck is so comfortable and you barely have to touch the strings and the sound is awesome for such a low price. An incredible value

  • So smooth and fluid,Great playing,exceptional tone!

  • Great Tone! What Amp and Efects?

  • Best damn demo for this guitar on the web. You wail. I saw you at Kit Dietz's a couple Septembers ago. Coincidence I found this googling for prs se semi hollow. I finally traded in my 85 squire strat (double humbuckers) at Music-go-round in Columbus. I didn't know what to get - but something else. I asked them what they had in hollow body electrics...and voila. I tried this and an Epiphone - quite different guitars. I've already bonded with this more than I ever with the strat. So light

  • hey man, i bought the same semi-hollow as you and im having some tuning problems with it. it seems as though ill play through a song and it gets a little out of tune. i saw that in one of your videos you had taken off your truss rod cover, does this mean you had to adjust it due to the same about problem? if so, can you tell me what you did? please let me no asap!!! i really love this guitar and id like to make it perfect.

  • I LOVE this playing....

  • I am interested in purchasing this guitar. What kind of set up did you do on it...gauge strings, action and did you change the tuning machines? Let me know.

    By the way...you sound great!!

  • stock PU's?

  • can you tell me which amp und which delay you are using?

    i really dig your tone!

  • Hey Frankie, I am a big fan of yours and I really dig your playing. I play guitar locally (i live in San Jose, California) and I would love to see you play live one day.

    Hope to hear from you

    Phillip

  • Wow, I really like your style and phrasing, Awesome. I love your PRS SE guitar, (I want one) It sounds great with your Fender. What type of pedals are you using?

  • You're kidding that this warm and beautiful sound is coming from a fender amp... which one is that?

    Very nice playing!

  • Awesome play man! Im a new player (about 4 months) and I started with a Squier Strat. It's ok for begginers. Well I had a chance to try one of these semis at GC and MAN, what a difference! So easy to play! I told myself that if I stuck through the tedious learning phase with the Squier (I'm a grown man so its easy to get sidetracked) then I would get me this little puppy for Xmas. So beautiful, sound so clean. Can't wait! Keep up the good work man. You got yourself a faithful subscriber.

  • i love that guitar, but hate that amp

  • Mine looks like the one in the vid, but I had to change the bridge pickup. I have a guitar like an ES335, these are smaller and sound more like solid bodies than semi-hollow bodies, IMO.

  • Great Playing. Don't hide behind all that delay!

  • I`ve had my semihollow PRS SE about 3 weeks, I wanna another one, debating getting a solid body version. There excellent playing guitars. It gave me that spark back I was looking for, I have played 25 years, this family of PRS guitars is totally killer! Friggin great Axes!!!

Frankie plays well, nice chops and style! ++1

  • These guitars are great. Sweet creamy lead sounds with awsome sustain, clean, heavy gain... a very nice PRS neck. I tested the soapbar model which sounded amazing, but I would prefer the humbucker. These are an amazing deal!

  • Sounds great! I could be mistaken, but do I hear more than a little Phil Keaggy influence in there? Definitely considering this guitar now.

  • I love the PRS SE Hollow body ! I love it so much , I bought a second one. They offer it in a tobacco sunburst too. Very cool ! It's like a 335 in a little, light PRS thingy. For sure a tinal value !

  • DUDE!!! I love your style....listen up, checkin' out the Les Pauls, ya know....and came across this PRS hollow-body. It has blown me away. What's your take? I'm really after tonal value.....not signatures. I'll probably get both. Just waiting to wrap my fingers around one of these. (30 year player) Thanks man.

  • Nice stuff. I was playing the p90 version through a Blackstar HT5H ministack yesterday but it was picking up buzzing from the flouresscent lighting so I was curious about the HB version. Your playing has convinced me to track down the HB version.

  • Thanks for listening. I love the guitar, so much I bought a second one. My main axe has always been Gibson 335's, but I have severe back issues so these work out great since they are feather light. It 's a lot of guitar for the money !

  • what are your back issues. i specialize in working with back rehab. also been playing guitar for 27 years.

  • @Starrman1970 I've been roaming all over Youtube looking at demos of guitars such as this hollow body, the PRS SE Korina and the weirdly wonderful Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II. My problem is the same as yours - a shot back. The hollow body and Korina look to be AMAZING.

  • @Starrman1970 For anyone who wants to know, the PRS SE Semi-Hollow weighs in at around 5lb and like Frankie says, it feels unbelievably light but can punch out a heavyweight tone if you want it to. I bought mine for similar reasons to Frankie but also because I have a damaged left hand and the guitar's lightness makes it much more comfortable to hold and play. Another light type of PRS if you want solid bodied is the range made with Korina wood.

  • Great playing! Sweet tone, it has serious "bloom" on it. Landgraff eh?

  • Are you using the Zendrive2 on this one? Sounds great!

  • Thanks! No, It's a Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive....Really nice overdrive unit! Smoooooooooth.....

  • Well it's really workin with the PRS. Talk about bang for the buck on those SE's!

  • Thanks! There 10's.....Stock PU's, gave it a re-fret. Also, I had the tone control dis-connected so I could have seperate volume controls....It is a coll little guitar...Light weight and very resonate..

  • I'm considering an SE. Is there a reason you re-fretted it?

  • awesome Frankie!! luv the videos in all their many playing styles. great stuff! Is that SE all stock? big tones there, you runnin' 9's or 10's on that bad boy?

  • great tone, beautiful playing
