@rawrified101 It's definitely accurate that Abe Lincoln stated that, but he did come out against slavery on moral grounds eventually.Hhe was against slavery for most of his life, there are private documents we have of his that indicate his abolitionist beliefs, but like many politicians, he made statements like this for political reasons. I still think that's one of the back-handed elements of politics, but he was opposed to slavery. It just took time for him to come out as an abolitionist

Her point is that were going towards this "huge iceberg" of national debt but her solution is lets cut taxes for every one! this makes lots if sense talk for 15 minutes and make no intelegent point. BTW, why the hell would any one want an "average person" to be in office? If they're going to make decisions that will effect me they better be smarter than me.

He was a one-term president because he had a very difficult personality (like his father), and because he beat Andrew Jackson under questionable circumstances.
