It's simply impossible for a singer to make it better than this! I agree others may have more heft, but no one nowadays can join so much vocal beauty, presence, intensity and stylish interpretation. Gheorghiu's "Habanera" is excellent, but here I have to take my hat off particularly to her most haunting "Pleurez, mes yeux". Great video! ;-D
She sounds pretty good here, but I maintain that no one sings this aria like the great Grace Bumbry! Her live recording with Placido Domingo is amazing!
Angela sound incredible on the aria from Le Cid. The voice is gorgeaus and when she sings her own way, not trying to sound like Callas the result is just breathtaking with none of those histerical squeeches like she does so often. Really really beautifull singing and technically very well achieved.
