  • I have a rescued male grey as well that is scared like that. I have had him for about a month now. He is sorta coming around. Still wont step up... Just wondering if Harley is warming up yet or how long it takes.... Thanks

  • Umm.. you are a breeder of African Grey right (you got a brooder)? Are you a hobbyist or fulltime breeder cuz I cant figure how can people work and find the time to properly care for this wonderful parrot at the same time.

  • What are you talking about? I do not breed - I do rescue work!

  • You can use a towel to pick her up when I got my blue front I couldnt even touch her I had to put a towel around her. Now she knows the towel. She was mean when I got her and now she is a very frienly bird.

  • If you have to, stand up on a chair OVER her. Birds want to be in the highest roost possible. If you're afraid a bite, put a couple sweaters on and over your hand, make her step up on your arm. Never act negative and always praise. My sister had an abused bird that trusted no one, that was our steps to getting her to act normal, on a short scale.

  • Lol I love grey's I'm actually getting my second one tomorrow.

  • I like the "oh hell no" LOL, yes you could see he wanted to bite him, hehe.
