this tribute makes me reflect something. Jeremy Brett shows great respect for the personality from doctor Watson while he played Sherlock Holmes who is a totally different person. Besides, I'm wondering if he didn't mistake his respect for Watson for the friendship and affection he feels towards Edward Hardwicke. But I like the fact that there is a same great and dear friendship between the two actors as between the persons they act.

I wish that Jeremy was still with us.. he will remain for me THE Sherlock Holmes.

As well as the great Twinkler he called himself.

He is it would seem more of a Watson at heart yet his talent gave him the ability to transfix us into the remarkable work of Sir Author Canon Doyle.

He will never be forgotten .. his clip in Battlestar Galactica was quite good too.

Edward Hardwicke - Ted - is a kind and gentle man. He is witty, self deprecating and a loyal friend. I am glad that you have included something about his friendship with Jeremy which was abiding and steadfast. I can't give you his address (for obvious reasons) but if you write to his agent I'm sure the letter will get to him.

Thank you for all the films and for stirring the sediment of memory in my soul. Jeremy was an extraordinary human being and, even after all these years, I miss him.
