There was some very memorable experiences I had at FOS. While on the haunted hayride, my friend was in the barn and it was pitch black. Though when the lights came on a guy was inches from his face. After a while my friend wasn't scared so the guy snapped at him and left. Then later while driving through the corn field the guy comes back and snaps at him again. This was really funny. Also, in the asylum, the room is pitch black and my friend says, "stop holding my hand" which I was wasn't.

Then the lights turn on and there is a clown holding his hand! Also, in the polka dot room, a clown appears out of nowhere. HOW? Finally, in the den of darkness, in the freezer with the bodies room, my friend says "look at all these dead bodies." Then out of nowhere a man says "well your next." Very good actors!

Hi there, heres a very helpful hint.... DO NOT touch or come into any physical contact with any costumers... some costumers dont mind it when touched, others despise it.. I have been slapped, punched, spit on, mased, and pushed.. many times... so I would not touch anyone if i were you, just to keep yourself safe. use eye contact with the crowd, its all about the eyes.. sure i'd like to see the one you work at. thanks

It is true that overall it is better that there is no physical contact though it helps add to the thrill. I have been (i think accidentaly) hit by a chainsaw in the den of darkness and fell down the steps but even though it was painful, it really got me scared and laughing at the same time.

Yes it is true that no phsyical contact is better for everybody....to an extent.. you just have to be very observent.. for example, you dont want to touch the screaming flailing girl whos freaking out, chances are shes gonna hit you.. for example.. but for others who are more calm, i just run my fingers down their back, hair, maybe grab their ankles.. you just have to watch out for peoples body expressions.

My friend just got some Manson contacts (the ones that are white colour with the black pupil and the black outline) from some place online (I just forgot the name lol) and they were $80 for one set and no you don't see everything in the colour. She said sometimes you'll see a little faded around the edges but other than that they just feel like regular contacts. That's about all I know.

You can get theatrical contact lenses from any eye care specialist.. you can also get them from online wich I do not recemend cause it might not be legit as in safe. I personanally get mine from the horror movie conventions I go to.. typically lenses are about 40 dollars, if they are prescription they run higher.. it all depends where your buying them from and what type they are. You see everything as you would if you didnt have contacts in. When you first insert them, feels like a punch in...

ran outa room on my last reply... when you first insert the contacts its intense sharp pain, kinda feels like a punch in the eyes. after about 5 minutes your vision and tearing and pain should deminish. It dosnt feel the same for everyone but thats typically what it feels like at first.

We may be america's most popular haunted attraction.. but theres others that are more scarier.. Dont get me wrong, we are are an intense high quality scare and we're pretty scary but there are others that top us, but arnt as popular. we just have alot of advertising and the money to do such advertsing. Well in our maze we had 8 mini rooms you had to walk through and I was put in the house in the bedroom. They gave me a dolly and 2 teddy bears so first I would just sit on the edge of the bed with just the strobe light and sing the Freddy theme song then follow them into the hallway (which had no light whatsoever) then that got boring so I started acting crazy and zombie like. I followed them more and made weird noises but made sure no one saw my face until they were forced to stop. That got em.

The least scary thing at FOS is i hate to say it but the hayride : ( the least scaryiest skit on the hayride is the "drive in skit" its like a big movie drive in set. its dumb. The most scariest thing at FOS is the den of darkness, the most scariest skit in the den is for obvious reasons the chainsaw... either that or the dark maze where I work.

we're not suposed to touch the customers, but somtimes we do anyways.. just as long as we arent all over them.. theres a difference between an actor who just touches a customers hair and an actor who is grabbing a customer... with chainsaws, they are aloud to touch thighs and below...[with the chainsaw] but it has to be low to the ground no where above the stomach for safty reasons.

I've never been to the headless horsemen, is it an attraction? I've never been there. but apparently we can compare to it because the headlss horsement isnt in the top 5 best haunted attractions in america. this slideshow is behind the scenes, makeup, messing around there.. note this isnt what it actually looks like this is back in the middle of the summer and spring, nothing is set up debree every where, the field of screams photoshoot slideshows are what you should really be looking at.

Of course Field Of Screams rocks, we're the #1 haunted attraction in america! I dont know if wer're alwyas the scariest, but that dosnt matter cause we're #1! Thats awesome you were interviewed for the tv episode that went on at FOS. I recemend not going the first friday we open.. caused thats opening night and everybody is all confused and husteling around tryin to find things and get things workin' and the first weekend is really duddy, cause we're still tryin' to get things into gear.

well first off, we're all volunteer. but I could care less about that. Its my favorite place in the world to be, littarly. so I dont pay any mind to the part of not being paid anything.
