It's so sad... Stevie is in almost all tributes to major stars. It means that we are loosing some of the best people who made this world a happier place, a deeper place, with they're music. Of many people I have heard speak, that was probably one of the most honest and heart-felt speech about Michael. Stevie and MJ had a mutual respect for each other and they loved each other's music and personalities. They are both kind, shy sensitive and immensely talented artists. MJ once said, when Stevie speaks, everyone listens, very true. Also, the one thing that stands out is that we have lost greats artists before and no one is forever, but we must do our best when we are alive. RIP MJ
I appreciate the kind things Stevie said about Michael and also to those of us who are fans. As much as we'd like to bring Michael back we cannot. Part of the difficulty for the true fans is at this time there is no closure. We can speculate, but we don't know the truth of what happened yet. When we do it will be really hard on us but we can begin to heal at that point. Until then we're an opening gaping wound.
The LA county should pay for Michael's funeral, remember how much tax money they spent in building the false accusations against him during 90-05, which had dragged an innocent man down in the bottom of his life, cause the deeper depression in his final years?
The other way to look at things is that they tried spend all the money possible to prove him innocent. When it was done and his "day in court" was over, the media and"public" never believed the evidence but kept spreading the trash. Who is more to blame, anyway?

I agree that everyone should just focus on Michael's music and charitable endeavors. Who gives a shit about his personal life? It's nobody's business but Michael's. I also don't agree with people turning Michael into a saint simply because he's dead or because they love his music. Michael had his flaws, made his mistakes, and went through very difficult times that made him cope in ways that were ultimately self destructive.
Celebrate the music and ignore the rest.

Of many people I have heard speak, that was probably one of the most honest and heart-felt speech about Michael. Stevie and MJ had a mutual respect for each other and they loved each other's music and personalities. They are both kind, shy sensitive and immensely talented artists. MJ once said, when Stevie speaks, everyone listens, very true. Also, the one thing that stands out is that we have lost greats artists before and no one is forever, but we must do our best when we are alive. RIP MJ

I appreciate the kind things Stevie said about Michael and also to those of us who are fans. As much as we'd like to bring Michael back we cannot. Part of the difficulty for the true fans is at this time there is no closure. We can speculate, but we don't know the truth of what happened yet. When we do it will be really hard on us but we can begin to heal at that point. Until then we're an opening gaping wound.

Actually he was the only one fellow artist who stood up for MJ during the last years, never giving funny comment or making fun of him. Almost all the other s- including Eddie Murphy - did that.
He was the one giving Eminem really hard time for his mocking video, f.ex. And all the time during the trial said that Michael is innocent, kept in touch with him and held his spirits up.
