This is such a great album!!! Although, I hate to say, the first thing I did was boost the low end and the treble. Seems too compressed. It's such a musically dynamic album but I feel as though I am listening to it in a small box.

@SoulcheckAudio well thats great my good man if your able to achieve a DR of 9 on average. Personally I feel that different DR's work 4 different genres of music, so as long as your not squashing the soul out from the song I guess your in good territory ;-)

@SoulcheckAudio is it really that necessary to follow the numbers instead of your ears? Im learning to mix and master and i always rely on my ears. but its cool to know technical stuf too :-) check out my song on my channel and tell my what you think

I've asked everyone including V himself and I still can't purchase a copy of the 'Aboloshing the Obsolete System' CD. Is it available, how do I get hold of it?

Cant help you there man as far as I know V wanted to remaster the ATOS CD.

But at the moment I guess he is just pre occupied with TQHC CD distribution in India,

as he seems to be having some problems at the custom Department. Well keep at it man & ur

request will be looked into asap & I'll speak to V about the same 4u aswell. tc n keep rockin.Ciao

I TOTALLY agree about the brick wall in today's mastered tracks. I think it all started after Metallica's St. Anger. And here's the fact - Multiband compression is NOT mastering. It kills the dynamics. One can use it in goregrind albums where the dynamic is nil and everything is flat....like a pink noise.
