They disband in 94 because, they made the Big mistake of merchandising their image and ultimately destroying their whole reputation by putting themselves in the back seat of publicity. Also, Jon Knight gave up, which made the the band finally decide to "forever" pull the plug and each go their separate way.

Wow impressive. I remember back in the 80s some of my friends always ran around the neighborhood with a cassette player with a New Kids on the Block tape. I did a search and I was very surprised to hear of the comeback. Very impressive indeed.

I never thought it would happen. It never crossed my mind that they would even get together. 14 years is a long time and it's a different time now. I pretty much left them in my past but when they did get together- it was SO exciting. I never went to a concert and finally got to. I'm so glad they did get together. I love them as much now as I did then. Now if only my husband was supportive...

You guys were massive in South Africa in the 90's, when I was a teenager. We were poor so I never could afford the NKOTB cd's, posters, magazines, t-shirts etc. I'm now 33, living in Scotland and still a huge fan. Recently, I had the privilege of attending your concert in Glasgow and you guys were bloody fantastic. The kilted finale was really cool and so was Danny's break-dancing. Not too bad for old guys!
