hey guys, i would like to ask you a question, cuz i've been searching and i have found anything. Any of u could tell me what's the name of the song that sounds in tetris when you lose and u have to write your name with your score and everything??? IM DRIVING CRAZY!! thanks :)
I'm debating if I should favourite it or not....you see, I'm a tetris GOD lol.....love the damn game but can't seem to find a good challenge....and this music makes me wanna play it so bad >.o lol.
Anywho, I believe I'll favourite it ^_^. So, 5 stars, a comment AND fav'd ;) Keep up the awsome work.
THIS IS TETRIS FOR FUCKS SAKE! God damn, I hate kids who think they know it all when they know shit. To the poster of the vid- great job, i liked listening
It's a program called Mario Paint Composer. The different shapes/pictures represent different instruments, and you just write music like you would see it on a piece of sheet music. The original Mario Paint game for Super Nintendo is where the composer came from.
Any chance at upping an MP3 for this? I'm making a compilation of all my favorite MPC songs and this is one of them, so it'd be cool if you could get it out there
I had forgotten that Tetris played that first one back in the day. Whaaaat is it? It's one of the Nutcracker ballets, yes?
And I still love song 2! They have that one on the NES version [or at least on Tetris & Dr. Mario, which is what I have].
I don't remember that third one.
But I so remember the rockets taking off...man, I was so young, I don't really remember playing, but I'd watch my mom play. You did a good job on the trills. :D
Thanks, guys. I had a fun time putting this together. Probably my favorite part is the end of Music - 1, the part with the ascending scales using mostly stars. It was so hard to get all the right notes; it took me like 20 minutes to put together that one part! But the finished product was wicked cool.
And Lolo, I agree with you about part 5; they're way too... something. They don't sound like a high version of the heart. Noting your stuff for a potential version 2... =D
The volume control on this is practically perfect, and adds a lot to the pieces. Tetris tune C could stand to be a little softer (just a little).
During Tetris part 5... I dislike the gameboys. >.> But one or two things I dislike don't take away from the fact that these are completely top-notch, and well put together. I like the little details you stuck into the medley, the sped-up theme and the crash. Both awesome.
My favorite is the high score music. Kudos on the great work, awaiting more.
This..is..amazing. I loved how song 3 went like you were actually playing (then losing, loved the "sound effect") then right to the rockets...then to high score.
So many memories rushing back :))

Dance of the sugarplum fairy was one of the original songs for the NES version of tetris. Watch any popular game review and they will say the same :3

P.S. I love how you sped it up and made the little crashing sound thingy when it gets to the top lol.....awsome little touch ;)
You made the music to sound almost 100% exactly the way it does in the game

I think track B (from what I've heard) is called Kalinka. As for C, and the rest of the songs (except for A), I don't know the names.

This is wonderful. I've been listening to variations on Tetris music for a few hours now (I know, I know), and this is certainly the best.
