  • So many memories rushing back :))

  • Dance of the sugarplum fairy was one of the original songs for the NES version of tetris. Watch any popular game review and they will say the same :3

  • this isnt tetris

  • Isn't this the dance of the sugar plum fairy?

  • I'd play this game for hours! lol the crying baby sound was my favorite

  • words cannot describe how awesome this truly is. all i can say is thank you for bringing hope back into the world.

  • hey guys, i would like to ask you a question, cuz i've been searching and i have found anything. Any of u could tell me what's the name of the song that sounds in tetris when you lose and u have to write your name with your score and everything??? IM DRIVING CRAZY!! thanks :)

  • In Soviet Union Tetris theme plays YOU.

  • Thank you for including the high score music. I love that song, and it's so hard to find.

  • in soviet russia, tetris plays you!

  • 1:56 - 2:42 = AWESOME

  • is it by tchaikovsky. it is similar to nutcraker

  • this gost manion

  • this makes me want to play this

They really should take Tetris back to the NES style.

  • Long live tetris

  • I love the way Music 3 sounds, both normal and sped-up. Nice job with it all!

  • Me it Play Tetris the long Hours !!!

  • awesomeawesomeawesome

  • Don Flamenco's entrance and the Tetris ending music were the same.

  • 5/5 and added to my Anime/music playlist. Well done! ^^

  • lol this reminds me of i wanna be the guy

  • HoW vErY nOsTaLgIc!!

(I know...you said it in the more info ;P)

5 stars for sure and a comment ^_^

I'm debating if I should favourite it or not....you see, I'm a tetris GOD lol.....love the damn game but can't seem to find a good challenge....and this music makes me wanna play it so bad >.o lol.

Anywho, I believe I'll favourite it ^_^. So, 5 stars, a comment AND fav'd ;) Keep up the awsome work.

  • P.S. I love how you sped it up and made the little crashing sound thingy when it gets to the top lol.....awsome little touch ;)

You made the music to sound almost 100% exactly the way it does in the game

  • THIS IS TETRIS FOR FUCKS SAKE! God damn, I hate kids who think they know it all when they know shit. To the poster of the vid- great job, i liked listening

  • I din't get this ?

It doesn't even look like anything.

    Just like random shapes.

And the same beats don't look like the same shape?

  • It's a program called Mario Paint Composer. The different shapes/pictures represent different instruments, and you just write music like you would see it on a piece of sheet music. The original Mario Paint game for Super Nintendo is where the composer came from.

  • @MiinniieMouse wow noooobbb XD

  • @MiinniieMouse Dumbo.

  • @Sly2Boy1 I'm sorry, I was retarded when I posted that comment like 2 years ago. I understand how stupid it was now.

  • @Sly2Boy1 o.o

    That didn't come out right..Really,

  • 2:45 - The Beer Song!

  • This is what the songs would sound like if Tetris was released for the SNES.

  • the tetris music lends itself really well to a MPC version (being video game music and all...)

    great work!

  • this int tetris!

  • Any chance at upping an MP3 for this? I'm making a compilation of all my favorite MPC songs and this is one of them, so it'd be cool if you could get it out there

Thanks a ton man, and keep up the good stuff

  • I can record this as an MP3 and send it to you. Which songs do you want.

  • The second is comparable to the Tetris Theme.

  • lol its the nutcracker u nubs

  • Thanks for the comments, guys! Yeah, I personally don't know what songs 2 and 3 are.

  • I think track B (from what I've heard) is called Kalinka. As for C, and the rest of the songs (except for A), I don't know the names.

  • awesome!

  • Really nice!

  • Anyone know the name of the second song? I've been trying to find out for months. Next to Korobeiniki, it's one of my favorite Tetris themes.

  • lol, you even added the crash effect when you stack them too high, that was awesome :D.

  • also, the mp3s would rock because i could make a cd and use it in my game maker game i'm making

  • its tetris you little fucks

  • And isn't it Overture in there too :-)?

  • Yes, and it's another remixed version.

  • That was awesome. One of the best Mario Paint songs I've heard on here yet.

  • This is wonderful. I've been listening to variations on Tetris music for a few hours now (I know, I know), and this is certainly the best.

  • how you get that speed so high? i get it only 500?

  • Check my other videos, Andy - I just uploaded a tutorial video for getting speeds up above 500.

  • God, the music is bringing me back. I still remember my highest score : 116603 pts. :D

  • I had forgotten that Tetris played that first one back in the day. Whaaaat is it? It's one of the Nutcracker ballets, yes?

And I still love song 2! They have that one on the NES version [or at least on Tetris & Dr. Mario, which is what I have].

I don't remember that third one.

But I so remember the rockets taking off...man, I was so young, I don't really remember playing, but I'd watch my mom play. You did a good job on the trills. :D

    You're awesome!

  • Yeah, the first song is a Tchaikovsky composition played in the Nutcracker. I don't remember/know it's name, though. XD

  • *its, oops.

  • dance of the sugar plum fairy, I think.

  • You're right, thanks. :3

  • Dance of the Sugarplum Faeries. Excellent job, man.

  • Isn't it Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy?

  • I think the Tetris version is a remix.

  • That'd explain it, but I kinda wish they made more original music :p

  • Thanks, guys. I had a fun time putting this together. Probably my favorite part is the end of Music - 1, the part with the ascending scales using mostly stars. It was so hard to get all the right notes; it took me like 20 minutes to put together that one part! But the finished product was wicked cool.

And Lolo, I agree with you about part 5; they're way too... something. They don't sound like a high version of the heart. Noting your stuff for a potential version 2... =D

  • The volume control on this is practically perfect, and adds a lot to the pieces. Tetris tune C could stand to be a little softer (just a little).

During Tetris part 5... I dislike the gameboys. >.> But one or two things I dislike don't take away from the fact that these are completely top-notch, and well put together. I like the little details you stuck into the medley, the sped-up theme and the crash. Both awesome.

My favorite is the high score music. Kudos on the great work, awaiting more.

  • This..is..amazing. I loved how song 3 went like you were actually playing (then losing, loved the "sound effect") then right to the rockets...then to high score.

    Damn you level 9..height 5.

  • finaly someone who understands dynamics
