The Caterpillar 657 is impressive but pales in comparison to Caterpillar's 666B scraper, widely regarded as the best scraper ever made. Sadly, Caterpillar discontinued the 666B in 1979 but a few still exist in running condition. Perhaps some 666B's will be restored to like-new condition and be displayed in museums or even reused in construction sites, quarries, mines, and oil sands. Have you or 'Cowboytall' ever drove or rode on a Caterpillar 666B scraper?
