We had great influence over the rebuilding of Japan in their economics, military, education, and government. We gave them great amounts of money in the form of loans for rebuilding. As an American I can say that my people and I do not deny the radiation poison and harm we did. In the end America did the right thing and because of it we have a stronger friend ship with Japan.

I'm an American & I'm sick of people bashing my country with insults & gloating over our present predicament. Thank you Mr. Sinclair, no one could have said it better. Although we would never thump our noses at them if they really needed the help. But once in a while, I wish we would.

Thank you for pointing out the generousity of the American people when it comes to helping other countries. To this day we still send aid to countries in crisis. The Canadians have been a great ally during the Afgan and Iraqi war...you should be proud of your soldiers for helping out now.

Thank you Mr Sinclair. Many nations continue to trash America, and there are plenty of our own people who heartily agree with them, but America continues to do more to benefit humanity around the world than anyone else. We aren't perfect. But I believe America is still the best place to live in the world. In America the common man can still achieve more, excel more, and prosper more than probably anywhere else.... It's a wonderful place.

Thankyou, I will always consider Canada as a friend to the western cultures of the Americas. You video shows what it means to respect those who are trying to make the world a better place. You have a beautiful Native American Indian culture there too like we have. I like how we have integrated but "kept" our differences as treasures of culture.

What about overthrowing the democratic government in Iran. Overthrowing the democratic government in Guatemala. Overthrowing the democratic government all over Latin America.Creating a dictatorship in Vietnam, overthrowing it, and the creating another dictatorship.And of course what about the violation of American ideals going in Guantanamo I love my country. I think we have done a lot of good in the world. Everything you've sighted video is correct. But it is the most one sided thing Ive seen.

Airbus is an aircraft manufacturing subsidiary of EADS, European aerospace consortium. EADS is a German, French, and Spanish aerospace consortium hellbent on beating the American aerospace manufacturers. But they've yet to do.

This may be 33 years old but it is still very applicable today, every time I hear foreigners criticize the United States, I know it is only because of jealousy and I'm sure it is not the majority of the people, just like in the US, many liberals also blast their own country, but they are the minority, unfortunately, most of us in the US are so busy working to earn a living, they don't call talk shows etc and voice their opinions as the liberal, hate America crowd does

The Marshall plan was not charity. The plan called for European nations to repay when they were back on there feet. I think it is time to repay with 60 years of interest!
