What is the mechanism that makes the lever flip down by itself when the blade is closed? I noticed that some Mikovs have this function and some do not.
Damasteel is laminate of two kinds of steel, the first is hard and the second elastic, so te final blade is both sturdy and elastic(excuse my english please) damascus steel is hand-forged but damasteel is made by injection of liquid steel under presure, it allows making of precise patterns like Odin's Eye. Uff hope it will help

these knives are made in Czech republic. The blade is damasteel made in Sweden.

Neither. Autoknives/switchblades function the way they do for convenience of storage and concealment.
