  • :'( I want to live in the old times so much. See the WWII with my own eyes, live the days of USSR, and live among the technology, fashion, cars and other things. These 2000's suck.

  • @AnElephantsChild You need to wonder if your teacher actually new what she was doing, and probably new the song. She just had you do that to embarrass you and teach you a lesson. LOL

  • @AnElephantsChild Busted lol

  • @AnElephantsChild : Hilarious story - my wehole family is rolling with laughter !

  • they were a great little band. Love the music, but ofcourse, after high school lol

  • I had this song playing in the car with my 14 yr old daughter with me and by the time we got out of the car & went in the store she was singing it.

  • stuart is so cute :) lol

i might be 14 but i loveeee and know my old music <3 :)

  • Les still speaks today regarding all the money Paton nicked from them. What a shame loved them but never admitted it until I left school LOL!!!!!!!

  • how about a reunion

  • Happy Birthday Eric!

  • rollermania in 75 . rollers forever true teen stars

  • Nice song. It sounds beach boys like. Was this song written by the Beach Boys?

  • prob not...a guy Called Phil Coulter was behind a lot of thier "music"....

  • written by John Goodison and Phil Wainman

  • OMG....I really love the close-up on Les at 1:09 - 1:21 !!!!! Love his smile!....(melt...sigh)

Sorry...but when you love someone and he's that close... what can a girl do?Right! Kiss him!! (smile)...Where are the years gone?I'm in the 70's all over again...ah what...Me loving Les NEVER changed anyway, even in 2009!!

    Addicted to love...or Les.(Lol)

  • I remember young girls going bonkers over this group, but I must admit this was a classic song and easily their best.

  • fantastic group gave me lots of special memories

  • HAHAHA. I´ve bought a couple of months ago the first BCR LP. No interested in the music. Never played this kind of music. BUT: The Cover: Unbelievable! THIS IS REALLY the worst " Fashion" i´ve ever seen on a cover.

  • im only 16 but mum introduced me to them when i was younger..

    there absouloutely great

  • Your mother should have bought you a dictionary in the process.

  • and yours a mirror

  • As a teenager at the time of the band,s chart domination, you can imagine that every girlfriend I had at the time was only interested in talking non stop about them.

But as the years pass I appreciate that indeed Les McKeown is a fantastic singer and that him and the band were only bank fodder for the cunt who "managed" them and did them out of millions.

P.S I am not and never was a Bay City Rollers fan

  • Jonkheere I agree with you, now that the Awful Tam Paton is dead maybe they will get some justice.

  • anne 3362 I sincerely hope that now Paton is gone the truth about the money he did the band out of will come to light.

But I suspect that the legal team left to deal with his affairs are as crooked as he was.

  • I wonder, the case is going through the New York courts - but it most likely will be a long drawn out process.

  • anne I agree that it may take a while to sort the why,s and wherefore,s of the missing millions.

But Paton went to his grave knowing that he was not the most truthful manager a band could wish for and that he was willing to lie about the Rollers missing money.

  • my wife loves the band its brings back memorys great time of the year. des

  • seriously?? More info please!

  • just fouod this, fxxxking great. But that could be Bon Scott FROM ac/dc singing

  • this is bob music my mum luvs it tho :(

  • Yeaa my mum loves these, her fav band :L. x

  • these dudes r my dads favorite!!!

the lead singer lives round the corner from my house!!

    jokes rite?!?

  • I did hear that the lead singer killed an old lady with his car, the guy on the drums is a nonce and was arrested for child pornography. I imagine the others have distanced themselves far away.

  • Not at all; they are constantly reforming and singing their old songs! AND are mad as hell at Tam Patton, their manager, who stole all their money.

  • its incredible, hear that these guys sold approx 100million records (thats bon jovi territory), so wheres all the money gone?

  • Exactly! We all know of the fight over money and the unsaid and deceased manager who shafted them for millions.

Perhaps that the band might have a better chance of claiming what is rightfully theirs when the estate of said manager is finaly published.

By the way Iam not a rollers fan but someone who hopes that the band get what they are due.

after all were they not one of the first boy bands to sel milions of records.

  • clearly not on clothes !

  • Short hair or long hair?

  • I beg to differ, prairielab. Eric's mine !!!

In fact, I have a beautiful Siamese cat with the most gorgeous blue eyes, and I'm thinking about renaming him E R I C ... just so I can have my way with HIM whenever I want ;-)

But I have to admit, Les is a close second !!!

  • Eric was the best but he is older now about fifty something ..

  • The 70s were the days

  • oh god tell me about it!!! wish i could turn the clock back to those dreamy, Roller hasey days...Oh to fall back into Erics eyes & not have a worry in the world!!!

  • If you find a way to get back then let me know and book me in for 1975 please. One way ticket only.

  • Hands off-erics eyes are mine!

  • Don't worry, I'm a bloke of the hetero-kind. It's one of the songs that reminds me of a French girl I was going out with at the time.

  • Phew- now thats cleared up-we can just enjoy the song again!!! keep Rollin'!

  • masters of the mime... will i ever see a clip where they are actually singing and playing. dont get me wrong. i love the song and BCR were one of my favs in 75 but i'd like to see them live in a clip. oh well.

    this song is classic!!

  • There is a live version on youtube-I just watched it. It was filmed at a concert in Japan.

  • the great band of the 70s brings back good memories in my time as a teenage wish i could turn back the clock

  • they' re great idol band in the world on 70'

and in my heart BCR forever

  • the singer + band are good. but the music is absolutely awful!

  • The rollers where forced upon me by my big sis as she loved them. Im at the stage now where I shared the bill with Les's Rollers in N. Ireland and even managed to get him to share half his bottle of JD with me in the dressing room after the gig. What a decent chap.

  • i'm 14 and i bought some records today, and this song was on one entitled "disco hits 75", and it has completely opened my eyes about different types of music, other than rock and alternative on my ipod already.

  • anyone got this in HQ?

  • very good...never heard this.

  • It was BCR or ABBA in - if you wanted the girls you would pretend to go for the BCR..
