I come from Manitoba, where hydroelectric power is cheap and plentiful. It's a great energy source that I do advocate, but this video is way too simplistic. People need to know the facts about the ecological/environmental effects of making new water channels, dams, and new roads. I think a better, more honest way to promote hydro is to compare its advantages and disadvantages to those of other energy sources, point by point. Hydro beats all until geothermal gets cheaper & solar more powerful. :)
in the future when people find out how to produce nuclear fusion that will be more efficient and it will not be as dangerous as nuclear fission

It's clean, but it sure can disrupt fish in some areas!! But I would trade Salmon for working outlets and irrigation any day.
