Can somebody tell me what the style of chanting is on the Justinian themes? Those low long choir chords are pretty impressive.

omg I've never gotten a settle with that many food resources. for some reason the ai just generates crap for me.

I played 8 games in a row on archipelago and it started me in tundra/ice every time. go figure.

I'd like to see you play a game where you are hampered by more than just difficulty, for example a terrible location, and see how to pull out of the nose dive. it would help me a lot seeing as how the ai hates me :(

@bazzdar I remember watching one called the gauntlet - the youtube video wasn't, but the challenge was. They started off in ice then and moved the palace to greener pastures.

I love it how you just carelessly place a valuable warrior in a game with Huts to explore defenseless title. You deserve to had him killed by that Panther. You were 50/50, had it been a bear it would've been all over. With my luck I generally lose even on jungled woods and thats the god honest truth. And after losing him superdefended so many times i've learned you can't just treat them like crap.

I just learned about Mansa Kankou Musa in my World history class. His people are actually called the Malinke people and not the Malinese. Civ4 messed it up.

Civ IV also has leaders like Gilgamesh and makes Frederick lead Germany rather than, say an earlier incarnation in the region (which would be more appropriate). Of course Sitting Bull was an arbitrary choice to lead ALL of Native America (which was never an empire per se). Civ does a lot for gameplay that screws with realism, the Mali thing is one among many. If I'd complain about something however, I'd complain about the flagrant anti-nuclear power bias the game has.

@TheMelnTeam wow yeah my professor at UCSB was really, REALLY into nuclear power. Its so damn cheap; he says that it remains, by far, the cheapest source of energy EVEN if you factor in the cost to ship the waste into outer space.
