Great vid! For anyone who wants to see what prairie dogs can do when they are "protected" ie National Parks, a great example is Wind Cave Nat'l Park in the Black Hills of SD. Instead of cows getting screwed up it's buffalo...a true endangered species. Last I checked prairie dogs are far from any sort of protected list..oh, the black footed ferret is the reason we can't poison them in full since they too live in dog towns and are also threatened. Coyotes aren't enough to control them, sorry.

A 223 will take them out the same way. A 22-250 isn't much more powerful, and it will burn up a barrel because of the higher shot pressure. Depending on you 223's barrel twist go with the lightest Ballistic tip bullet that your gun will shoot accurately. ** A 243 will do even more damage.
