@zanjani13 Remember, the hood is opened, so it sounds quite a bit louder than normal, and it's not an MCI, which has a smoother humm to it, it's a Nova Classic, which is generally has a raspier sound to it. Also, this is the first time the bus was brought out in several weeks, probably had a lot of carbon in the exhaust system. So this revving really was functional as well as entertaining.
@MysticMTL Yeah, the only thing that differentiate the 92 and 94 is the exhaust position. 92= angle, 94 = straight-up. Its really sad that 9403 is retired. I used to take it when it was on route 7 Du Passage. By the way, nice to see busman1984 at the beginning of the video ;) I met him a few times in the past. Last time is when he drove the New Look 8202 in the Canadian Tire parking lot lol!
@nova9403 This bus is not retired at all. It's used at rush hours each day Monday to Friday. This bus still has at least 1 year left... They're not using it during the summer because they don't need it, because they cut some runs during the summers. Though, if they need it, it is ready to go out anytime. It's gonna be back in service at the end of August, especially with the new routes coming.
@nova9403 - There is one other difference as well betweel the 1992's and 1994's besides the exhaust pipe placement on the vehicle. Do you know what that difference is? Hint: the difference is also at the rear of the bus.

Mmm, I assume its the same engine for the 920x series ?
nova9403 6 months ago
@nova9403 As far as I know it has the identical set up to a 920x series. With the exception that the 92's were from MCI and the 94's from Nova.

@nova9403 It's not certain that it is retired though. Perhaps they will return it into regular service in the fall.

@busrailfan The fleet number is bigger on the 920x than the 940x series? (Maybe I tried too hard...;))
nova9403 6 months ago
@nova9403 - Compare the side rear clearance lights on a 94 to a 92 and get back to me.... :-)
busrailfan 6 months ago
@busrailfan Ah I see, 920x has 5 lights and 940x has the only 3 lights in the center ?
nova9403 6 months ago
@busrailfan Forgot to mention that its at the back of the bus. ;)
