  • I love the enthusiasm your teammates have when you're racking up a high score.

    "Whoa-hoh-ho! That's it!!!"

  • I love that game.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

  • THEY NEED TO MAKE THIS FOR CONSOLES... or AT LEAST the wii!!!!

  • @TheCap319:

    Well that sucks.

  • i ranked as a major when i finished the game and thats pretty damn good if u ask me.

  • This game should be ported to the 3DS, or Wiiware at the bare minimum.

  • @Returnofthejedi1000 nintendo doesn't own the rights to this game

  • They had this on the Cruise Ship I was on. The Carnival Conquest. Too bad I never got to play during the week I was there mostly because. The first few days I didn't know they had a Game Room on board and on the last few days the Token machine wasn't operational.

  • A friend of mine was playing last week and I noticed how close the Star Fox dialogue sounds to this lol

  • "Shoot down the ones on Vader's sides first!"

Most memorable line from an arcade game ever, mainly because the damn thing said it whenever you missed. Still, though, I freakin' love this game.

  • The graphics are bad ass...

  • "Standby alert: Death Star approaching. Lock s-foils in attack position. Accelerate to attack speed."

  • this machine satistys both my love of arcade games and star wars. sits in my gamesroom next to the 3 star wars pinballs and the barcrest fruit machine. star wars deluxe came from colwyn bay pier and set me back the princely sum of £200 and has never given me a problem

  • If I won the lottery I would open a chain of retro arcades throughout the UK, stuffed full of all the best machines from 80s and 90s!

  • Aww memories from when i was small :) still my second favorite star wars game rogue leader is my first!

  • Used to play this at Chuckie cheeses when I were a little one

  • god i miss arcades ,In England the arcades are shit mate and practicly non existent. Not like the 80's and 90's at all. I went bowling the other day and it had a few machines scatterd by the entrance, the kids were going mad for them{my kid aswell}.I thought to myself -fuck the bolwing off and fill the space with cabniets such as this one as well as 80's ones. There is still a market for this stuff.

  • Loads of nostalgia right here and looking at it now it's very enjoyable the graphics and game play are still excellent too bad I can't find it any where :(

  • Woah ho ho, thats it!

  • sega is sooooo good at making arcade games base on movie

  • Man no offense but this guy completely sucks

  • Needs to be ported onto the Wii

  • @fiddlebender88 how about every console?

  • @truthaddict11 that sounds even better

  • Why did my local chuck e. cheese remove this game? I could spend all my tokens trying to beat this game, which I did, but never bores me.

  • i really really miss star wars games before they had to include the shitty prequel storylines in every fucking game

  • if you press the top and bottom triggers you can shoot twice as fast, very useful: but it doesnt work on all machines

  • oh how i miss this game, you just can't find it anywhere here.

  • man the person playing is amazing at this game

  • @MetallicOpeth No he's not at all.....he's complete ass

  • @MetallicOpeth His health got down to 21 at the end of the game. mine never went down one bit...ESPECIALLY ON THIS LEVEL!

  • @1776PatriotTeen We got a badass over here

  • @MetallicOpeth Without sounding like a show off I have done that level a number of times with 100% shields, he was al rite

  • Man... i used to watch my older brother play this ALL the time at my local movie theater... we would make trips just to play. He would play the whole game, and since I was the little brother, I was delegated to the "special" button (the one for the reinforcements etc)... ahh man those were good times. I wish I could find a cabinet of this somewhere in New Jersey so we could play it like we used to 10 years ago =]

  • wow this looks fantastic, i'm guessing its not playable on mame? ..why the fuck don't they make a game like this today with state of the art graphics on the 360 or PS3? this is the kind of thing people want, not some bullshit like star wars unleashed with different characters, story, locations etc

  • i think the duels with boba and vader would be epic with wii motion sensing control...

  • Nostalgia....i can STILL beat this game in one credit, ack BRB arcade.

  • Epicness happening in real time.

  • When will someone at Lucasarts pull their finger out and release this on console?

  • Was it possible to link lasers in this game?

  • This is an amazing game. I hope they'll eventually emulate it in MAME.

  • Awesome game! Great graphics and sound. Simple gameplay and fantastic for it! :)

  • this arcade was the best and still is!

  • I loved this game. I could get through the entire thing on a single play.

  • Best damn arcade game ever!!! Anytime i see this game at an arcade i get so into it!!!

  • wow that looks fun as

  • neeed for wii :(

  • I've got a bad feeling about this.....

    XD

  • my fav arcade game ever! but its so hard!!! the least i beat it was 3 quarters

  • I got a technical error i played it here in holland, i only put 1 coin in and it somehow registered it as 13... needless to say i beat the game. tho i lost most of my lives on the endor space battle XD

  • wouldlike one in my living room;))))

  • For some reason I always get goosebumps when the death star blows up in any star wars game

  • i remember when i was younf, i bragged i destroyed the death star when i beat this :)

  • wow, the guy plying this is awesome.

  • This game is so fun. I actually beat it once. After you beat all 3 stages you go on to space Endor and destroy the 2nd death star. You die like every 5-10 secs in that level because tie-interceptors come from all over. Such a fun game.

  • Nice job kid ! :)

  • If they could put the arcade game Ghost Squadron on the Wii, shouldn't this be deserving of being ported to the Wii?

  • Why, oh why did this game stay in the arcade and not see a home console release? (Star Wars Arcade came for the Sega Genesis 32X )

  • @BenJabituya Should be downloadable man!! for PS3, Wii and shit

  • 4:40 Han Solo didnt need to save you lol

  • One of my favorite arcade games of all time. I beat the whole game on just one credit until I got to the 2nd Death Star. That last stage took 2 more credits for me to beat.

  • This was one of the most awesome arcades that I've ever played! Wasn't too hard to "stay on target", the Wampas sure were challenging, Boba Fett was too, the Endor on foot mission sure wasn't easy, especially the scout walker, Darth Vader was no different from Boba Fett, at least I still got 'em both good, and last but not least the Endor space battle may have been tough, but I still did manage to beat it all!

  • this mission said whoa thats it alot

  • @MegaOster, well that usually happens if the players manages to get (at least I think) either a certain point multiplier (hitting targets in a row without a single miss) or even if you miss, still accumulating a big amount of points in a single grouping.

  • by far, the best level of this game.

  • this game was great. made you feel like you were right there in the battles. felt the trembles of the explosions, the shake from the enemy ships flying around you. awesome game.

  • @crucialconflict02 The closest that I could get to this game is Star Wars Rogue Squadron II - Rogue Leader for my Nintendo Gamecube.

  • No offense, but the player's play style is incredibly twitchy and focuses a lot on normal rate of fire. I beat this game on one pair of tokens, and it went much faster on rapid fire.

  • Now this should be on Wii VC

  • @EminemFan202 I agree.

  • I beat Yavin and hoth level with no damage, But the Endor space battle is crazy. TIE Interceptors are bastards, and those TIE bombers with that damn shuttle XD.

  • Everytime I heard "Use the Force" in this level, it would give me chills.

  • they should put this on virtual console now that they are putting in arcade games

  • also he makes shooting the tie fighters in the trench easy, Ive tried it, but its a little hard

  • yeah, that'd b awesome

  • The should really think about releasing this arcade machine with a 3D HD TV and better speakers could you imagine how amazing that would be ?

  • On this mission and space endor, I love it when the guy says, "Whoa, that's it!"

  • One time in May, June or march, of 2009, i aced this mission without taking any damage.

  • I'm beast at this game!!!

  • i really hope their gonna have it 4 wii soon this game will be perfect with wii controls

  • They could do it for the 360 and the Ps3 also because all you need to use is the stick and two buttons (both trigger buttons maybe?) Though a port to any console would be awesome.

  • I hated this level it was the only one i could never do.

  • wish dey hav dis 4 xbox 360

  • or wii

  • i wonder if there is a way to buy the arcade game

  • Sure. Ebay.

  • Yea but it's like $1400 lol

  • awesome star wars game you know sence lucasarts is starting to support nintendo for releasing the old star wars game starting with the super star wars trilogy i think it would be cool if lucasarts release the star wars trilogy arcade game on the wii VC arcade what do you guys think

  • I was thinking about it, and it really is the ONLY Star Wars game that rolled all the best sequences from the movies into one game. Incredible.

  • This guy holds the joystick a little strangely. But, whatever works...

  • i freakin love this game!!! best star wars game ever!!!

  • when you access to the computer to prepare for the final shot, you should not shoot anymore till the target, because seeing the scene without shooting is more emotionant!

  • But then you die...

  • No! The Millenium Falcon destroys the TIEs.

  • Not all of them...

Plus if you don't shoot at all then you don't get that high of a score.

  • I CAN'T SHAKE EM!

  • AAAUUUGGGHHH!!! TAKE COVER!!! THE REBELS ARE ATTACKING!!! AAAUUUGGGHHH!!! Oh wait, WE'RE the Rebels.

  • man when i got to this part i honsitly felt like luke ^^ best game ever

  • @krazykris666 Needs to be downloadable for PS3 ASAP!!!

  • best arcade game ever

  • Omg that last part gave me the chills when I finally got there.

  • i didnt even think to use the proton torpedos in the final stages of the trench run... maybe i can lower my credit use to 2 since i always get killed around that part.

  • is there that game for computer???

  • yes, you can play it on MAME versions 0.98 to 0.102

  • more info please?

  • THANK YOU MAN

  • But it didn't work!

  • Ditto. tried it. can't find the d/l. FFFFF.

  • Some guys in YouTube said that the MAME team is currently working on MAME Model 3, which will emulate every Model 3 ROMs properly aka. working.

  • So... You wish to attack one of my planetary Death Stars?

Not if I can help it!

    Deploy all units! CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • starfox reference?

  • Ah yes...the very miracles of Sega Model 3. But you have to admit, games like Star Wrs Trilogy, Sega Super GT, and Daytona USA had some of the best arcade graphics IMO.

  • This game has lunched in 1997 but has 128-bit gen graphics! That´s Incredible!

  • i don't remember there being star destroyers at yavin.

  • damn this guy whos playin is good

  • seriously
