But in any event. both were amazing fighters t watch.

Even though saku is a submission specialist his favorite go to move is the Kimura or double wrist lock. I also love this simple yet highly effective move. Its truly the left hook of grappling.
@mrpopenfresh id say sak wanted to proe he was a better grappler than funaki here since masa would have been his senior coming up in prowrasslin.Sak himself was a shadow of his former self even at this stage,he was never the same after getting hammered by vanderlei 3 times.He took some terrible beatings there.
Funaki still looked pretty damn good out there.

Saku and Tamura beat Funaki soundly. But when they fought it was evenly matched and boring. Long story short, they are evenly matched.
