I was introduced to Dylan in a 1970's van on an 8 track player. We slept on the beach and ate tofu and wraps and got coffee in the mornings at local cafes. It was the best time of my life and Dylan has a solid place in my soul. :)

This is awesome, I think easily one of the hardest Dylan songs to tackle vocally, but you nail it. There's that tiredness in the throat of having smoked you're brain and strummed a guitar into the break of morning in your voice that relates the sentiments of the song. I know Bob Dylan's not the greatest vocalist ever either, but I don't think that's an excuse to have weaker vocals. I just think some range exercises would help for those higher notes. Maybe just try doing some scales, slowly working up to the high notes.
