Songs always have two sides. Sides of performance, and meaning. By performance, we can conclude that this is outstanding! But by meaning it radiates, it can be equaled with (note) very simple Nationalist Russian song. I bet if Alexandrov Ensemble and Kharitonov would sing "Das Deutschlandlied", it would be magnificent, but the meaning?

Especially when it comes from THE Alexadrov Ensemble and THE L. Kharitonov..

Just look at most difficult performance of Onegin made easy by them!

Well, i understand what you are saying. I still don't want to condemn the words of this work( I am not russian, and I think we share our political beliefs).

I can't explain it, but I think even tough this song is very russian, it carries a deeper human sentiment.
