I stand in awe at this video. *grabby hands* Amazing. Would those digibooks of Wonka, Seven, etc work on the PS3? Not got a region free BR player sadly. Great video.
I've already seen this video but wanted to add a comment. I have only 1 digibook and it's Elvis on Tour. It's ace and shineeee :D This has to get faved so I can come back and look at it incase I see any of these cheap :D So many I want. Rocky Horror, Willie Wonka... All of them :D lol!
@dvdemm all that unessessary clutter and space taken by all them dvds it looks messy. you could of stored all that on HDDsAll those DVDs are worthless now anyway.your lucky gamestation or cas converters would give you £2 each for them.
I don't get why she never shows her face. All she has to do is put the camera somewhere and sit infront of it whats so hard about doing that? I reckon she's scares of what peoplewill say about her appearance or something.
I'm thinking of starting to get the bluray digibooks, there all region free aren't they?. I Exocist looks amazing.. Rocky horror is a fun film, again lovely digi book. Willy wonka is a classic.. loved it as a kid and still now..lol.. Falling down is class, i had it on vhs to. Seven is am amazing film, can never have to many editions. Bonnie and clyde is a classic. Mulholland drive is a fav of mine, love the digi. Hachet is great fun, Good gore. Troll 1 & 2 is top, hilarious... Bring on part 3lol
Reason you wasn't scared, was because you lived with you parents, compared to now (I'm assuming you live on your own), I was the same never found anything scary, now living on my own, things are different, and even though I don't believe in ghosts, monsters etc, I still go round the house with my dog as apparently dogs can sense things humans can't.
@floyd75dylan Yeah I live on my own but I started getting scared even when I lived with my Mum lol. I'm terrible even in the cinema. I get so scared I can barely look. But other times I don't mind a good scare. Mostly its films like Paranormal activity where its quiet for so long then you jump that get me! I hate jumping lol. I can easily sit and watch old 80s/90s horror on my own lol. Weird!
@DVDeMm I think some of todays horror are far too realistic, such as the so called torture porn movies, whichI prefer to call them endurance horror, because it goes beyond entertainment , and is basically an endurance test to see if you can manage to get through the whole movie.
To me that isn’t what horror movie should be about. It’s supposed to be scary & entertaining at the same time. Take The Exorcist. It’s a good horror story, that can either question your beliefs, or if you’re an atheist you enjoy the movie, because it’s a good solid story, with great direction, and a believable cast.
Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty may be the best good looking bank robbers of all time. But yeah, Bonnie and Clyde is a great movie, it, along with The Graduate (a bit dated imo) started off the most exciting years in American cinema. Le Cercle Rouge is an excellent 70's crime heist film. You will fall in love with Alan Delon if you haven't already. Every straight man can admit he's gorgeous.
Awesome update. I really like the bluray digibooks. Really need to get the willy wonka one because I love that film. Never seen those studio canal editions, really cool. Great vid!
hey Emma, great update!!! i'm not too fond with the digibooks, but they're alright!!! but you seem to love them, so yeah. they're cool though!! not the worst things ever. anyways, amazing video!!!
I mentioned in one of my recent updates that Digibooks are my new favorite movie packaging, they are just so beautiful in person and well made. They're better then Steels and digipack for me, do you feel the same.
Did you ever get that Avatar UK special edition. I didn't see it in any of you'r updates.
You got some nice editions there, I know you showed the first but I just watched Exorcist 3 and thought it was really good! I loved Rocky Horror but had not a fucking clue what was going on with plot! I literally muttered to myself "Ah sexual" when you showed that Mulholland Drive edition, love that cover! Confession: I've never seen the Graduate! I think Hatchet was low budget but it's awesome trust me! Has some AMAZING deaths, it's so much fun.
Excellent and very informative update! I would really love to get the Criterion release of "The Third Man" on blu ray as well. Sadly though it has been deleted and is going for silly money now
Those digibooks and studio canal blu rays are great! I liked Four Lions a lot but I actually found it to be more of a drama with comedic elements. The end sequence was heart breaking to me. I love Waltz With Bashir! It's a very unique take on the war film. Great pick ups!
@theInnerdvdPattern You are so right about Four Lions. I am terrible at remembering films really just what I thought of them and when I think about it yes it had a lot of drama and the whole theme was sad and the end was heart breaking. Just their general banter made me laugh a lot though. I felt like I know people like that (obviously not terrorists!)
The Exorcist didn't really scare me as much as it disturbed me. Very unsettling and extremely well made. One that sticks with you for sure.
I really need to watch The Wrestler again! Of all the films from that year, that one really has remained a favorite of mine. Rourke was robbed of an Oscar!
are the studio canal release the same size as the normal blu ray digibooks?
