I am going to buy some harmonica! It doesn't let me breathing...when I am watching it, I do realize, what is great on music, especially blues, straight from heard to heard. btw Shawn Starski is unbelievably great performer, he can talk by guitar clearly, no empty sound!

Is that an "Ab harp played in third position' ? Or is that a Bb in cross harp? sometimes it seems that i hear overblows - minor 3rds - but that 10 hole bent is either bent overdraw which only jason is capable of or its "magic dicks bent". I only have an A harp myself, thats why i'm askin.

@juzefkaspox if anyone is interested then it actually is an Ab, it was very stupid to point out minor thirds because its the essence of the blues scale. I just went to the local store and tried it listening to this song?! I am an obsessive freak..

@juzefkaspox the firstt half of JR solo is 1st pos (Bb harp in Bb).. has some OB's in it (they are needsd for the 'blue' notes in middle octave)

the second part is in 2nd pos (Eb harp in Bb) with some Ob's and a couple of Od's too

@MrDidjcripey well hes the best modern blues (1,4,5 NOT based blues) harmonica player - in case of the instrument itself, its Howard Levy I guess.. nobody controls the intrument better than he does in so many styles + the understanding of music itself is amazing, mainly b/c he has evolved from a great piano player ;)

Shaun & Jason have really laid down some excellent blues,here.Thanks for posting,Vince. I enjoyed it so much ! Great to see the Blues are Alive & Well,in a new generation of young musicians.Shaun is as great as Jason.(I'm well biased towards harmonica,but know lead guitar 'rules'..)Ricci's harp goes as close as possible to 'outdoing' the 'axe'.Highest quality blues-harp.
