  • dame poor price it isnt easy beeing a rookie goalie in the playoffs for the first time he has so much pressure on him no experince at all

  • One more thing, I'm also making a video, is there any chance you have a higher quality version of that horrible screw up by Price (Boston's 2nd goal) that you can share with me? Would be much appreciated, but if not thanks anyways!

  • I just think Habs should have held Huet as a great back up. This video was edited on my DVR and deleted from it once I transferred it. The file on my hard drive is almost 38 megs (for this edited version).

  • We're full of surprises. We have a great backup in Halak, he had by far the best stats as a golie in the AHL.

I only need the segment from 0:33 (maybe a bit before, just as nokelainen crosses the blue line) to 0:41. But I don't wanna give you any trouble, I'll keep looking.

  • yeah, you are full of surprises, like going down 3-1 to the philadelphia flyers. its definitely not 1993 anymore, and the playoffs so far are really showing montreal might not be as big of a threat as people thought. its also been forever since you've been able to maintain a starting goaltender...shall i say, jose theodore? definitely a big risk putting pretty much all the weight on a 20 year old.

  • I understand what you're saying. Montrealers like to paint their goalies as (and expect them to be) God every single night. Price is more then getting the job done on his end, which is something Montreal hasn't had in years. A goalie can play a HUGE part in it, but will never win a stanley cup all by himself. He's definetly human, but a human very good at stopping pucks, which is what we needed.

  • price had to much pressure on his shoulders.. every one out there is saying "oh well win for sure we have price!" it aint all about price... hios defense needs to do their job too, hes a great goaler but we need to take some pressure off him

  • That's what I said below. If you don't score or have good D, he could have a spectacular night, but you still lose.

  • I do wish Game 7 was more like Game 6, even if the Habs still won. What makes hockey so intense is the way the you can go down to the last minute with a lead, and still lose in the final seconds!

  • you sure about that ?

I think golden boy is back

  • He is a great goalie, and I wrote that before. I just think the Bruins showed he is human, and that's all it takes in the playoffs. The biggest difference in Game 7 was the rest of the team doing their job. No game is won by goalie alone. You have to have D, and you need to score. It's going to be fun watching the Rangers take their game to the Habs.

  • I totally agree with you.

  • GO BRUINS!!!!!!

  • This is the abridged version (minus the "golden boy" intro). Canadiens rookie goalie #31 Carey Price has looked untouchable, until now.

Realistically speaking, Price has allowed 10 goals in two games, for a total of 15 goals in six games. Thomas has only allowed 14 goals in the same six games.

    No "golden boy" anymore.
