Or - she just doesn't like people proselytizing. Maybe she's happy. Happy people tend to show no need of believing in a god. Now if people start talking to her about something that doesn't interest her when she really would rather want them to tell her more about themselves, I can understand why she eventually gets fed up with that. You assuming she had a "heart of stone" however is so immensely conceited I don't even know where to begin. Maybe you were afraid.
