i agree with, you it is an ultimately negative drug and the conotations of inscouciancy attributed to it are true. Yet in cultures disasociated from cocaine use by temporal factors such as ancient rome and a plethora of other tyranic civilisations prior to the social and political induction of cocaine use as a decision making tool, have bared similar halmarks of cold blooded and self serving agreements.
The weak idiots in power these days need it to be ruthless in the face of social change.l
I'm still a bit confused about clarity being an enemy of a person of knowledge.
I've never considered clarity as being a state without doubt although I certainly recognize the danger of too much self confidence.
Is that the reason that clarity is an enemy?
Also, was the third enemy Power? The reason I'm asking is my fourth enemy is hampering my cognitive talents and after two times through the vid I'm still kerfuddled.
Some interesting observations, I was greatly interested by the native american indian thoughts on knowledge and learning. I forgot this video was about cocaine until the analogy was drawn at the end.
Great!

Thank you so much for sharing of your knowledge Ian.
During the 90s I saw many of my friends turning into paranoid wrecks, when they refused to realize that it was time to "wrap up the party".
