  • It's also missing the word De Lorean from the left hand side of the back bumper.

  • @Kinggoldtop Ooooo, sharp eye! Even I didn't notice that!!! Nice one! =)

  • And dude totally agree with you on seeing that Part III flying train make it to the shelves! Keep pestering that guy to make it a reality, I've been crying out for one for years lol Why the hell has nobody ever made a single model of it!!! A travesty. Should it be even bigger than these Deloreans though? That might be an issue. Best.

  • Thanks for pointing out the logo inaccuracy! No wonder I can't find this baby on Ebay. It may interest you to know however that here in the UK this Part I version was actually sold in original movie packaging. One reason why I wanted to know what's different about it. Bit strange though they didn't include the lightning hook as a removable accessory like earlier Delorean models. That's what I remember most about the whole Part I look.

  • It's labeled as Back to the Future Part II because it's a logo thing, it's cheaper to get the sequel logos than the original.

  • I like the vido

  • You can get DMC logo stickers on stickerfixer (dot) com. Also, the "No Power" sound effect is when the car beeps because it has no plutonium

  • You can get DMC logo stickers on stickerfixer (dot) com

  • can you PLEASE REVIEW docs truck (GMC) and DeLorean (DMC) and everything that it comes with from ryan jaremko

  • i thought that was the 1 18th, so they have a 1 15th now... the 1 24th is dicast, 1 18 is stainless and urs is plastic. i havent seen them in stores yet so this must be the 25th aneversary?

  • @DRstaszak Hmm, as far as I know they have NOT released these into stores. Diamond Select very rarely ever does that with their better stuff. Your best bet for one of these is BTTF.com, guarantee they have them ANd no, it's not 25th anniversary, I got this baby over a year ago.

  • ya im getting one of those this week and mine has the hover mod sound on it in the uk thay cost like £41.89p i pad for mine bttf part3

  • how much was this

  • @ghostguy689 I forget if I said it in the vid or not, but I believe it was about $45 when I bought it. I THINK, it's been awhile since I got it and since I made this vid. But check BTTF.com, they will still have it most likely. XD

  • Thank you This answered all my questions. Why does mine not have mr fusion and fold in wheels?I was confused, thank you.I got mine from universal hollywood and want to look for the second and third movies.

  • where did you get the mini modle of mart doc docs truck and the delorean

    please tell me... thanks

  • @JMJ68 I got it from Ebay a long time ago. It was made by Johnny Lightning toys, it has Marty, Do, Einstien, the Delorean (though with Mr. Fusion for some odd reason) and Doc's Truck. I twas about $20 when I bought it, they're pretty common. Shouldn't be too hard to find if you look.

  • DMC still makes cars but not worldwide just in california so that is why but people can still go out and buy one.

  • This car was not in BTT2, save for flashbacks of part 1.

This Delorean IS the BTTF1 Delorean. My guess is that because this toy company also did a true BTTF2 Delorean (Mr. Fusion, hover, barcode plate) they just used the same box. It's a mistake box on this one. Trust me, it's part 1.

  • @Cornwiggle Actually there are NO flashbacks in Back to the Future. It is in fact exactly as it appeared in BTTF Pt. 2 at the end, after Marty gets the letter from 1885 Doc and runs to the clock tower. THIS DeLorean is shown for a few minutes screen time while Lloyd re-acted his last moments of that movie so Marty could run up behind him. They did make a Part 2 DeLorean, but they only got rights to the 2nd movie, hence the box design. Not a mistake.

  • Dude, that is the most desperate attempt to prove yourself right I've ever read.

Yes, you're right. It is THAT Delorean, which, I repeat ONLY appeared in that one part of part TWO, but was in the ENTIRE part 1. So just admit it, it's the PART ONE Delorean.

  • Just because the part ONE Delorean appeared in part two, doesn't mean it's the part TWO Delorean!

  • @Cornwiggle Yes, I know it is the part one DeLorean. But according to the people who made the toy, it is the part 1 DeLorean as portrayed in part 2. For stupid reasons we may never understand they only ever got the copyright to the second movie so they had to do that. AS I SAID. Now if you wanna get technical, there are no part 1 2 or 3 DeLoreans seeing as they are all the same CAR. Modified yes, but different CARS, no. And I never SAID it was the part 2 version, I said pt 1 AS PORTRAYED.

  • @Cornwiggle Also, it didn't appear in JUST THAT ONE PART. It was also seen under the cloth when 1985 Doc saw his 1955 self and looked under the cover, then basically talked to himself. I think you simply misunderstood me, I never said it was the Part 2 version. Believe me, I know WAY more about these movies then you ever will. Do not question me, you will fail epiclly. =)

  • Hey great video.....but just a little detail..about the DMC logo......they cannot put it on Because DELOREAN MOTOR COMPANY is back in TEXAS...so they actually built new delorean with the left over parts produce from

the old company....so there's your answer!!!

  • I want it! It's just too damn expensive!

  • so its made out of plastic?

  • Hey, thanks for the review. I just got one of these (for Christmas) and was confused by the BTTF II logo on the box. I thought there was some shady returns stuff going on until I saw yours was the same way. Diamond Select makes a Part II version with a Mr. Fusion and flip-down wheels, so my guess is that they ordered too many Part II boxes and just used those.

  • --Oh, forgot to mention--did you notice that when the "out of power" sequence happens, the lights die out instead of just switching off? Cool, right?

  • Casey....you rock!!! I don't have much of the stuff for bttf, but I LOVE THE MOVIES! This review was very informative and interesting to watch, mostly because you talk so damn fast and so clearly. I'd never be able to talk that fast!

Great job! I would like to see more of these videos....Also You are now able to say "hello to subscriber number 23!" nice job!

  • lol, thanks Ulrich! Yeah, the reason I talk so fast is besauce I did 5 takes of this and they were all too long to upload, so I had to condense a few things. Only made 1 mistake, SunStar made the 1:18 scale, not Diamond Select, but still. I was actually the FIRST person to review this car! Well, the first on YouTube anyway! So I'm proud of myself for that! XD

    Thanks dude!

  • @Valkier071 Glad to hear that you got that honor of being the first! ^^

  • I like this!

That review was very helpful as I am considering

to buy one as a present.

  • woooaw, where did you get that car? i just buy the car and inside was a Bttf TIme machine form 2nd film, you know with Mr. FUsion and so on. Nice video :)

  • I was thinking about getting this but the negatives you pointed out has now made me think otherwise. For $50, the DMC logo HAS to be there. And the packaging?! Come on Diamond Select! Where's the QC?! You swearing a couple times made me LOL. Pretty good review overall.

  • The bands on the DeLorean sides which are light up in blue are not coils, they are more like bands which wrap around the car. coils are more like circuilar shapes.

  • Very good and informative. Some disappointing info mind you, but still very informative. 10 stars!

  • lol I mean 5 stars

  • AWSOME VIDEO

  • NERD!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you Casey

  • Hey the one that you have of the 1/15 scale dos it have a switch tomake the wheels flip down? I was waiting for that I saw another video of a guy who did a review and his did that hovering so hmmcheck yours again. Just look below the car and see.

  • Not the 1/15 scale, this is the PART ONE DeLorean not PART TWO. The old 1/18 one does, it's been very beat up over the years, I've cracked the door (how I cracked steel I have no idea, I was a destructive child) both mirrors broke off, the steering wheel and the rear view mirror are lost, and the switch to make the wheels fold up is broken off as well, but I just switch it by pressing down on the wheels themselves. But the new one does not. Doc didn't get a hover conversion until 2015. Not 1955.

  • I like you're toy reviews, keep em up dude!

  • I have a review of the Part II one up. It's just the same as this one except for a few features. I prefer the Part II.

  • Yeah, I saw! Nice! But... all those sound effects are screeching tires and reeving engines. Mr. Fusion powers the time circuits and the flying circuits so those sound effects don't make sense for a FLYING car! It's not run off the actual engine. The actual engine turns the wheels and shifts gears, something not needed for the flying electronics can run without a motor! Just a car battery. So I don't like the sound effects for the part 2 one, they just seem SO out of place...

  • As said from my previoud comment, I bought the BTTF Part 2 DeLorean which is an entertainment earth exclusive with moveable wheels and lights like your etc.

I decided to get that one as it is more accurate to the original cars used in the films. The plutonium reactor is not meant to sit on the Mr. Fusion deck with the hoses.

  • awesome review, Im gonna go and buy one now.

  • awesome videos

  • I think the reason the box has "Part II" printed all over it is Entertainment Earth released an exclusive version, only available at their website/store, that has Mr. Fusion and the hover conversion flip out wheels. The only difference on the box I can tell is the Entertainment Earth logo is printed also. My guess is DST just wanted to save money and only made one design for both cars.

  • Very nice review and lots of trivia/details provided. I was impressed with your catching the details about what was lacking (ie the DMC logo) and the lighting not staying on. The DMC logo may be a must for accuracy and I'm sure as time goes on there will be someone who comes up with a mod to allow those lights to remain on. Keep up the good work on reviews. Those of us who have had these on pre-order for months appreciate these first looks at the item and your findings. Thanks!

  • Hey, no problem! Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I figured all those people who haven't gotten theirs yet could see them and know what they're getting. I'm a HUGE BTTF fan, I know every line and sound effects from all 3 movies (not kidding, everyone hates watching the movies with me because all I do is talk along with them XD) and I had been looking for a video of this and couldn't find one, so I thought I'd make one myself! XD Glad you liked it man, thank you so much!!!

  • DMC does still exist, of course not by John Delorean. There's a few DMC warehouses in the US that restore and also build new cars using NOS parts. So that's probably the issue they're talking about.

  • DMC (TEXAS) did not assert ownership until 2009. The other Back to the future models/toys still sported the DMC emblems, marks and were in a sort of fair use in the late 1980 to mid 2000s. Unfortunately we the fans are left with scratch building an emblem or using home brew decals.

  • Ah, that explains it. Thanks! =)

  • Well since DMC Texas got ownership this year, doesn't that make since why this toy is lacking the emblem?

  • good review . great to finally see the difference in scale to the sunstar 1/18 cars .. i have 3 on order ( i live in the uk ) and will set about customising them when they arrive detailed paint and re-work the electronics ....dst covered themselves pretty well going for the bttf part 2 licence , this means they can use the time machines from all 3 movies as they all appear in part 2 . i want a 1/15 scale 2015 taxi !

  • Hmm, you're right, however the white-walled DeLorean from Part 3 doesn't appear in the second movie. I never understood why they did that though, but I'm starting to see why now. Yeah, the taxi would be cool, but I want the Jules Verne train SO BADLY!!! There are NO models of it ANYWHERE. They never made ANYTHING based off it except for a tiny McDonalds toy, and that one was based off the cartoon series. I'd kill for a replica of that train...

  • Thanks for the review mate - great stuff. I've been looking for some detailed footage of this

  • Yeah, I figured this might help out those people who weren't sure if they wanted to buy it or not. Glad you liked it, thanks so much!!!

  • The license plate looks like the Bar code instead of the California plate. Oops.

  • Nope, it says OUTATIME on it. My camera just can't do close-ups very well, but it does say it. The odd thing is that the license plate is transparent, yet it does NOT light up with any of the sequences. What I think is that it was SUPPOSED to for the first time travel sequence (since it went spinning off after Einstein's first departure) and that would make sense too, but either they forgot or mine was broken prior to delivery. But no, it says California, OUTATIME, very detailed. =)

  • That's good to know. Thanks. The only thing it needs is the DMC emblem. I wish someone could scratch build a DMC emblem, but it's so very small and my only other alternative would be a flat decal.

  • Well like I said, I have a model kit SOMEHWHERE in my house of the part 1 DeLorean. It came with a flat decal of the DMC logo, and also it had decals for the flux coils and the flux capacitor (it was a very shitty model kit, but I got it when I was 10), and I know it's here somewhere, if it is I can take that sticker off (assuming it will come off) and put on this one. Every if you just had sticker paper you could make a flat one, but yeah, an emblem would be difficult.

  • Hey Casey wouldn't the first delorean in back to the future part 2 be the only one not to get a release. And that why they released it or its that I'm a complete idiot and am just trying to sound smart?

  • ........ nice try haha

  • No, I think there was a copyright on Part 1, but I have no idea. And the flying one from Part 2 jusr came out, it's sweet!!! If people like this I'm going to do more, but I wanna see what people have to say first.

  • a old worker from dmc now fixs up deloreans again and sells them thats prob y

  • BTTF was meh.
